thanks Stan, I think I told you that I found a lot of metal flakes in my magneto and when I cleaned it out with the shop vac, My BD starts like a dream. As you advised I have gone to giving it just a tiny sniff of fuel, and that is really all it needs. thanks for the post.

Yes you do otherwise it will create a airlock or vacuum situation that will make it hard for the carb to pull fuel up to the engine. I have done that only to land open it up and get back in the air. On the initial start it does not seem to matter. What is also nice about the shut off is it allows you to lay the engine down without fuel coming up through the vent tube. Thanks for watching.

Jeff, Any small engine shop will have it, look for a places that works on lawnmowers. It is an in line fuel on off switch. Costs just a couple of dollars. Thanks for watching

Where di you get the valve and do you have a part number? Such a great idea, I've been struggling with this and I think this will help. Thanks

nice video But why do you want to do all that work, when my Fresh Breeze simo you just pull once and start...None of this messing around

Not fit that fuel kind tap, fit a non return valve instead. Then you can blow into it and it doesn't matter if, like in the video, you forget to open it again! ;)
