The big problem is this game rewards more cheese gameplay over actual skill, I remember in bt3 ssj Gogeta was a demon, but you still have to play the game and a better player would destroy you, I would expect ridiculous super counters and fast moves in high level gameplay, not cheese spammers
💯 disagree. At somepoint if you extremely good you need to cheese. I think people are mad because they can't win online. Personally I rather play offline
@Hellsing7747 instant sparking mode ki blast spam into unblockable supers isnt just cheesy bro its anti-gameplay and simply shouldnt be in the game the fact some unblockable supers do 2 and 3 bars of health is nuts they shouldnt have the safety net of spamming ki blasts for 20 seconds before dropping the ult *edit- typos
The thing is: You have become "that guy". That guy that spends more time with the game than anyone of your friends and you can only really have truly close and good fight with other "that guy". Just listen to your friends; they don't sound like they are enjoying fighting you that much, and for you it's basically just practice mode. I am also "that guy" when it comes to fighting games in general (especially Tekken). I can't really play with my friends anymore, except for one of them in Street Fighter, because they don't have fun being outclassed so much and for me it's kinda boring - I try to consider it defense practice but it's not really that stimulating. Online matchmaking is a very good thing. I probably wouldn't play fighting games anymore if it weren't for online play.
Some people are also just naturally talented and skillful at certain games compared to others, sure everyone can be "that guy" sometimes but as long as you don't brag or act extremely cocky, I don't see it as a huge deal It's not your fault your good at the game but it is respectful to hold back on your friends especially if there is a massive skill difference because no one enjoys playing a game and losing 100% of the time because "that guy" spends every waking moment mastering the mechanics while your not
Lmfao almost got jumped in college my boy brought me to his dorms all his boys played ninja storm but I was “pro” back then and I told them I could beat them with one hand using no subs. I beat all of them with one hand did not use sun let them transform and that was me on a 1 year break
It was the same way in tenkaichi being extremely good at vanishing and z counters makes the game extremely repetitive it was cool because in couch coop you’d most likely set rules of what you could and couldn’t do but online that’s not an option your friends/brothers would let you charge y’all would purposely clash and give your friend a chance to charge up online it’s just cheese this game doesn’t need a ranking system unless they equal the stats of the character krillin should do just as much damage as gogeta. They also made the strong characters WAY more op than in the old games for no good reason at all this game is 10x more unbalanced than a ps2 game which is wild
Hilliasteur is a player I remember from Demon Slayer, he was actually pretty good at that game, never stooped to meta too much, I lost all respect for him for doing what he did in SZ, and yet I can also admit I don’t take this game too seriously at the same time lmao. But yeah, there was a bunch other stuff I don’t like about him now, but that’s one of the main reasons.
Ngl I don’t think 1v3’ing your friends is a good way to have fun. Like yea it may be fun for you and that’s a maybe. Your friends on the other hand are just getting beatdown and probably don’t want to play the game even more after that. I been on both sides and when you become better than your friends it’s not fun for them. I’m that good friend on Fighterz and none of my friends wants to fight me anymore because what’s the point.
I wont lie but it sounds like you got some weak meat friends. I played a lot of killer instinct back in the day and had one friend decide to try it with me. We best buds but he had no chance to beat me in it. He loss 70 games that day but enjoyed seeing how much he could improve bit by bit while still playing. It doesnt always have to be about winning. Shit he jumped off the couch when he caught me in his first counter breaker.
It can be fun if you make it like a Good Guys vs Bad Guy scenario or something A lot of people enjoy roleplaying the characters, it doesn't just have to be about PvP and as long as you make it interesting, it can be a 1v5 for all I care LOL
i watched it live, not going to lie when they threw hands , it was great you saw some great combos! but that was like 10% vs 90% just throwing constant ki blast and doing nothing, shit was boring af. I honestly don't believe that is real top tier playing, because they were just desperate so they can get the money.
Saw it live too and I mostly enjoyed it. When you understand how the game works it becomes a lot more enjoyable to watch - at least it did for me - and like you said: When they were in each other's faces it was amazing. Even when they were flying up and down, you saw ways to deal with it like a chargeable beam.
I knew online for this game was going to be broken boring ass before it even released. You cant even pick characters you like cause they are most likely super weak compared to common picks like UI goku and so forth. I just want my trophy and will never touch online again.
We waited more than 10 years for this, it's sad, I hope Bleach Rebirth of Soul is not another Bandai Nomco joke, we had too much bullshit this year, JJK Cursed Clash, this Sparking Zero which disgusts me
that video of you blaming xenoverse players was cringe. my response: I am a og tenkaichi 2-3 player and I was never hyped for sparking zero and prefer xenoverse 2 and other games over it and never played sparking zero because you fans are toxic to anyone with any disinterest in sparking zero or wanting to play other games, its ridiculous. so no, xenoverse players are not the ones ruining sparking zero, thats you all and you all only. karma is a b. sonic x shadow generations, ys x nordics, sao fractured daydream, and gundam breaker 4 are all better, more polished games than sparking zero and more enjoyable games. gundam breaker 4 already has more content than sparking zero in a month. also the reason your game is dying is because you divided the dragon ball fanbase and didn't force bandai to fix the issues with the game before release, and you glazed the game and defended its lack of content and other issues. and now that your game is bad, you want to play the blame game. meanwhile I haven't been playing any dragon ball games, been playing those 4 games I listed instead, because unlike you I'm not obsessed with dragon ball or waste my time playing a lame arena fighter dragon ball game on ranked 24/7.

I think this is definitely a friend game, and i have no friends so im dying in ranked
i always fight chat when im streaming so we can be friends :)
difference between not for money vs for money
This is a anime beat ‘em up arena fighter not designed to be a competitive game.
