It definitely should have. I think for Oculus TV and it’s developers, there was so debugging going on for making sure the virtual experience was comfortable. It is trickier than you would think, and an very unforgiving medium to work in. I think that creators are figuring out what can work in video format and what can’t so people can enjoy being transported to great places. Oculus is definitely trying to not allow anything that will make you nauseous so people get more confident in the medium, but it makes it tough to get though all the hoops.
This really appeals to me as I am disabled and can’t visit all this in person. Are the apps animated or authentic? How much are the headsets? Are some better than others. It seems like VR is in its infancy and will only improve. I remember my dad having one of the first handheld calculator.
Try the oculus Go headset. It's very affordable and user freindly. It is a stand alone headset meaning that it does not need to be connected to a computer or have a phone placed inside. The apps, experiences and entertainment are downloaded by WiFi or streamed.

I think it is magical being transported to beautiful places using a VR Headset, but it still is a hard market. I have been developing beautiful VR content and it is still rough to be found and get your amazing VR content out into the world.
