Today Researcher R. will be reviewing the second part of the FAQ session held by Doctors James Caldmann and Carlos Rzewski in which they continue their explanation of the mysterious nature of so-called ‘humes’ and their importance for the SCP Foundation.
What do areas of high (or low) Hume concentration look like?
Is it possible for a regular human to become a reality bender?
Does being in the vacuum of space alter the nature of Hume variance in any way?

Well if you keep the SCP-50 the architect outside then space has progressively larger fluctuations in Hume ratings as you travel away from Earth
It has been suggested that the brains or other body parts are used in creating Scranton Reality Anchor. And that the Foundation acquires these necessary parts from the GOC.
Do you know of SCP-973 Smokey's appearance and whereabouts?
It can track any individual that are in the vehicles and when they got out.

These 2 are my favorite stories that I've read on the wiki. And I think you guys could tell them and make them interesting for everyone.
How do you measure humes in an individual without including the surrounding area?
Q: in a low hume environment, it is stated that normal humans can bend reality however not carry these abilities outside the lower hume environment due to the humans themselves not possessing such abilities first.
However, is there a risk of humans possibly ever being aware of this circumstance and altering reality while within to potentially give them these abilities permanently? Such as a shift of their own personal Hume level to be higher?. If so, do low hume environments pose a far more drastic risk than they already do?
If not, could you potentially explain why exactly that wouldn't work? Is it as simple as their alterations only being able to exist within the low hume environment? Like a human might try to "permanently" alter hair color while within, but upon leaving their hair resumes it's normalcy state? Would it be along those same lines? Or am I incorrect and a human could in fact do that, and thus warranting concern about more serious alterations, like stated to begin with.
This is ofc ignoring the rituals and other possibilities that allow reality bending powers
Think of it in terms of densities.
A reality bender has a higher density than a normal human.
A normal human has a higher density than a low Hume environment.
Your Hume density is inherent to yourself.
By the same token reality benders cannot usually take away their own abilities. Thei can just mentally surpress it.
25:20 after extensive testing I have concluded that this equation is incorrect as if a reality bender attempted to set its Environment to 73 humes with an energy of 12 joules and a second reality bender attempted to Change its surroundings to 14 humes With an energy of 367 joules (12/367*(73+14)/2 = 1.4 wich is smaller than 14 wich should be the lowest possible result as the answer has to be between 14 and 367 for this particular equation can anyone explain to me if I have this equation wrong or wrong or whether this scientist should be fired

I must have a negative hum level. I’ve been to haunted hotels, houses, Area 51, and never saw a thing. The people with me don’t either.
So it seems that this was a real life faq and not an in universe one, at least I'm guessing that's why questions went unanswered and the grammar dissolved at the end there.

If SRAs can cause anomalous instances in other universes, could SRAs in other universes be the cause of anomalous instances in the baseline SCP universe?
Let's take this a step further, could a SRA in a "fictional" universe cause anomalous instances in our baseline reality? Think about it, that would possibly explain a lot of the weird stuff that happens in our world. 😅

Dr. Jack Bright (as I understand it, in his original body) had orange hair, so one or both of his parents would have orange hair, too, so I don't think Bruce fits any of the male Brights.
@@KyrstOak He might make a good 5-12, AKA the father of SCP-321, which is Dr. Bright's sister, so in a roundabout way the father of Dr. Jack Bright

The Hume Particle Theory: Yes, I know there was mentioned that humes are not a particle. But if you look at the "sand" metaphor of humes, you can say that it is field. The "Hume field" or "Reality field" could be similar to Higgs field. As you know, Higgs field affects matter and as a medium it uses higgs bosons. What I imagine is, that reality is composed of "hume particles" and that places, where are less particles is also less reality. Humes don't have to be particles, but they can describe particles that make this field.
