Unfortunately for the #3, this doesn't break the 'no passing under yellow' rule, because you're allowed to pass cars who are part of the incident. When the leader got stuck in a position where he would have to back up in order to get clear, he became part of the incident.

Turning a multiclass race into a single-class race is heresy. If you must, remove one of the classes. But really it's a matter of the tight course and number of cars on track more than the multiclass. You'd have the same stuff happening with 30 GTD cars as 10 of each class.
Very true. They can probably move the FD series to another date at least, have the GTLM and GTLM Privateer, GTD and GTP paired up to get a tad less cars on the track and still have some good racing going on. But all in one? man thatl be mess after mess like last weekend.
No, the Acura made a legitimate move and the BMW left him room. But then the Lexus came flying in after they were already turning and knocked the Acura into the BMW.
bmw did nothing wrong. Nsx did very spicy dive bomb, since as you can see it's very tight corner. On top of that lexus probably though to himself, fuckit, maybe only other 2 crash, im going for it. Just a last lap nerves :)
