Worked hard and clang together. And that's how musical greatness comes to be. In your America, too - ask our Mixi here. No them elites ever had a hand in cultural advancement, don't ever wait for em! First time she watched Japanese Maid Band live video and the BEST Hard Rock Band in the World...🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
    Let her watch and react to NEMOPHILA song Dissension, HANABIE song We Love Sweets...

  • @BlazinNSoul
    @BlazinNSoul 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Figured it might be an appropriate time to mention that several members of Nemophila are former Destrose, & Mary's Blood Members. Which careers started with Destrose among pretty much anyone who isn't Band-Maid and Babymetal.
    Which includes Destrose Miho and Narumi who are the founders of Lovebites and Disqualia.
    Four former Destrose member created Mary's Blood,. Then add Mardelas, Nemophila as mentioned, Aldious, among many others to the Destrose family tree might total 15 bands.
    Destrose Saki went onto form Nemophila as well as Hazuki from Disqualia. Fate Gear is legendary Destrose founder Captain Mina's current group. Which is a steam punk metal band & just finished a successful EU & UK tour!
    Captain Mina is a pioneer & as badass a b*** as they come. She deserves a lot of credit as not only a great writer and brilliant guitarist. Yet as a starting point for many of my favorite J-metal bands careers. So yea Band-Maid is just the tip of the iceberg here!!
    Note: I recommend Super Sonic Samurai. A epic Victorius track they did of the orgional bands single & it rocks. Battle Against Justice, is another amazing track. Winds of The Fall is their latest release but really nothing much to hate about this group! 🤘🎸🔥

    In Japan it all starts in the schools with teaching self discipline to be the best you can be, and not victimhood like in America. The best get on stage and become great through self discipline, dedication and hard work, victimhood mentality stifles ones ability to even think about being great.
    Mixi, This song was song #22 of 23 for this LIVE show that was over 2 hours straight entertainment....talk about energy. Band-Maid Brings It!

    why do people always recommend this track they have so much other music

    • @daaaaaave
      @daaaaaave 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s a good intro to them live, and they all get a solo. You get a little of everything, musicianship-wise, and you get to see them goofing off, surrounding Akane, and Miku falling on her butt while Kanami walks away with her arm up in victory.
      It would be almost perfect if the mixing were better.

    • @MaartenT
      @MaartenT 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Because it shows them in their element live and shows off their impressive musicianship (with the extended solo section) while it still being a (pretty produced) live video, not a fancam.
      Edit: I just thought of an other thing and I am sure that doesn't apply to a lot of fans (there are a lot of people that know them way longer), but it does for me and there have been plenty of others discovering Japanese rock and metal during the pandemic. This is one of the first tracks I saw by them and probably the track that made me understand how good they are at their instruments, together with Onset but that one doesn't have Saiki.

    • @realdocloco

    • @rolandkarlsson7072
      @rolandkarlsson7072 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I have mixed feelings about Babymetal. For me it is mostly the very young cute girls and the shock factor of seeing them in a hard metal context, doing cute stuff. Babymetal really has some totally outstanding tracks from 2010 to 2018 until Yui left and they grew up and was no longer super cute Japanese girls. Now they are grown up women and I have only seen three songs that have the vibes of old times: BxMxC, Papaya and Metali. Also, Su's voice has changed. I liked the younger voice, it was super impressive. I actually saw them live a year ago and I was not impressed.

    • @1970Phoenix
      @1970Phoenix 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I used to love Baby Metal, and I'll be forever thankful to them for leading me down the Japanese metal rabbit hole that allowed me to discover bands like LOVEBITES, Nemophila, Band Maid, Hanabie etc. But I think I've outgrown them. They are very entertaining and very popular, but the premise of their act is a single gimmick (cute little teens dancing / pop singing to metal music). I think the elite musicianship of some of the other Japanese all-female bands has spolied me.
      But I still will listen to "Gimme Chocolate" from time to time.

    • @rolandkarlsson7072
      @rolandkarlsson7072 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@1970Phoenix I still love Babymetal, my favorite tracks are Yava, Sis Anger and Headbanger. But I love even more tracks. Why not GJ? Or Megitsune MV? And even Metali. But the big days were 2010 to 2018. And those days can never come back, it is impossible. Small girls grow up. They are now trying to come back with another act. As far as I can see it is not really working all that well. Some likes it. But some will always like anything.

    I think you would be hard pressed to find a Japanese band that had members that WEREN'T technically proficient, especially compared to the average wrstern act - the can all Play, capital "P." But only a handful have really been able to capture a sound that appeals to a western audience, among the most successful of them BandMaid, Lovebites, and Nemophila. So yes there is a while world of Japanese rock and metal to be explored that western audiences have not been exposed to, but I'm going to guess that 90% of those bands are going to be too foreign, literally, for the western audience to get into, despite the musical prowess of those bands.
