I saw this today. What an amazing performance. I don’t know how she’s able to do this everyday, it is so emotionally draining, and to just perform with the same intensity. Do very well done Jodie.
I saw this play three weeks ago on Broadway! Absolutely astonishing! That Tony award had her name on it as soon as it was made! I also saw A Doll’s House with Jessica Chastain, which was wonderful as well, but Jodi, left it all on that theater floor! The feeling, the emotion, that she project it was amazing. Absolutely a one of a kind actress! Thank you Jodi! ❤❤❤❤
I loved her in "The Last Duel," so I decided to see this one. This only elevated her as both one of my favorite new actresses and one of my newer celebrity crushes. She is so damn talented and beautiful.
And this is why she won! Even watching this little piece of a video, she takes me there again! And she brings me down to tears again! No words! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Just from listening to Jodie and listening to these comments...it is so uplifting and unbelievable that she could do this well and blow everyone's minds!!!!! I always knew she would make it to such high places...so happy and proud of her! Yes I know I'm not a relative but just love predicting greatness in someone! Makes me so happy! ❤😁
I didn't have the chance to catch it live because I live half a world away but I am so glad I got the chance to watch the recorded live version. What an exceptional play and a must watch! And the strength and stamina and mental stability it takes to push this out day in day out, how can anyone not amazed! She deserves all the awards she's swept up!!
I cannot bear to watch it all at once! 😭♥ I need some break... It's so heartbreaking! I saw this play in London last year. I still have no words for it!
How the hell does she do that?! It's 4 minutes, and i am already broken and in tears. And she lives it day after day on stage. Jodie Comer is so f-ing strong 😭😭😭😭 And those women who have experienced what she's talking about.... I'm so in pain
Just knowing I’m living in the same time of her makes me so happy she’s so incredible theres no words to describe Jodie of how amazing she is, really would of loved to see it live but I’m very unlucky. Hoping to see her in something live another time or just getting a chance to meet her
saw this in the cinema and it absolutely hooked me. I tend to drift off or lose interest quite easily in things but jodie comer in this one woman show, absolutely captivated me. I was stunned afterwards i needed to sit in silence and just absorb what i had just witnessed.
I had such a similar experience. I was with two other women so the “ look to your left “ speech hit like a two ton weight. We sat there for ten minutes after this ended just trying to collect ourselves. Never had an experience like this before. Stunning.
HOLY SHIT!!! This is simply amazing Jodie! Immersive doesn't serve the level of depth you went on this role!!!. I can feel every iteration. HOLY SHIT!! God have mercy on the man that lays a hand on my daughters!!!
just saw this at the barn in cirencester on a screen, thanks to the National Theatre and Sky Arts for releasing it in some cinemas in the UK a 2nd time. truly a mind blowing performance. I need to find more Jodie Comer roles now. I've subscribed to your channel coz of your excellent editing and subtitles. thanks for giving me somewhere I can express my thanks
The line I remember most from this magnificent play and Jodie's astonishing performance is, "That's not fair!" which Tessa yells at the cabbie right after her rape when he won't drive her because his shift is almost up. Such a simple moment, representing anyone who's been a victim of sexual assault.
Saw this on Broadway and left the theatre stunned. I have never seen anything quite like this. Jodie is absolutely remarkable. The music edited into this clip is a bit distracting. There’s no music when she performs this and it’s more powerful that way.
Yesterday I saw it in Budapest, Hungary. The Hungarian actress Dorina Martinovics is also impressive. Prima facie speaks well of sexual violence. The question is: whether we hear it
National Theatre Live made a film of a performance in London, many cameras, carefully planned. I imagine (hope) this edit was made from that film. It was simulcast around the world in July. As far as I know, they have not uploaded it onto their website, but maybe at some point they will.
It's supposed to be on their website, but it was only available for a limited time. This was before it came to the USA. I wrote to them because I will be unable to go see it, but would very happy to pay $$ to see a recording. It just doesn't exist. Anywhere. I wrote to the website and asked them to put it back up again so that American's can rent it. They did reply, but said that 1) it won't go up while the show is "live" somewhere, and 2) They don't control what/when recordings are available. It's not on any service (e.g. Prime, HBO). I even looked in some "less than legal" sources for it, and still, no actual links to files. Our only hope is that they will reconsider making it available again after it ends on Broadway.

What a masterpiece this performance is. I wonder if Jodie knows she is so very good, if she realizes that is so great... I hope she does
That fact that Prima Facie is a one person show (and one extremely long monologue in a sense) makes this performance even more impressive!
woah , jodie comer never seems to disappoint. best actress to ever grace this earth

Jodie comer is our greatest living actor
Judy Comer ist für mich, derzeit die größte Schauspielerin der Welt. Die Oskars in Hollywood warten schon auf sie.

Jodie Comer is so phenomenal. A generational talent! Thank you Thank you!!! ❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
She is the kind of actress who main priority is not money, just works who challenge her.
She clearly wants to be the best.
Sends a deep shiver all over, she truly is the greatest Actress.❤
I loved her in "The Last Duel," so I decided to see this one. This only elevated her as both one of my favorite new actresses and one of my newer celebrity crushes. She is so damn talented and beautiful.
Was lucky enough to see a live recording of this at a local arts theater. I will never forget it. She is just brilliant and the play was devastating.
And this is why she won! Even watching this little piece of a video, she takes me there again! And she brings me down to tears again! No words! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

WOW, I am amazed!!what an incredibly talented woman, she is phenomenal!!!
Those quotes plus the intro music to Arrival cut straight through me.
She's amazing 💜 . So much talent lies in this young oactress!
Betrayal trauma is real and eventually this system and its intuitions that fail women and girls will have to answer for that.

Wow. I wish I could have seen the play. So powerful. And so true.
Powerful and hugely touching.

You can’t watch everything online. Important lesson.
@@andrewmay1299 while this may be true i did end up finding this online if you want the link lmao
Do you have the full show
I've been looking for it for ages

Where can I watch this?
@@Luko2004 didn't see it maybe they just remove it🥺
@@swatchthree yeah they could have done now because it’s on Broadway so they want to maximise the amount of people who will buy tickets??
