We love inside cabins. Great sleep. In normal life I wake up around 4:00 AM, even though I am retired. But with the Inside cabn, I sleep at least a couple of hours later. And I like the savings !
If there’s not a ton of price difference, we go for an Ocean view, but I agree with all your reasons. We have an interior 14 day and an interior seven day booked right now. A balcony on the seven day would be as much as all 21 days in an interior.
Although I almost never book an inside cabin, I agree with your reasons for doing so. I will be in an inside cabin in two weeks as I board the Allure of the Seas. I did that because the cruise is so short and my kids ( adult kids ) are going.

My wife sleeps the best on ships in interior rooms. So relaxing.

Yes, would definitely like to cruise more and be in an interior room is fine if it helps to cruise more!
