Sadly I moved out of Ipswich in 1995 and I’m gutted I can’t be at matches there must be an awesome vibe around the Town at the moment and by some miracle we make the playoffs I can only imagine the feeling with our club.. all that has happened to our club in the last year or so is just awesome and to the people who are trying to bring the good times back I applaud you..

I am not so sure about Ashton, he is viewed as some sort of Messiah by most fans yet all he really does is spend other peoples money? I guess that’s what happens after 10 years of Marcus Evans. I think it should be mentioned that if we don’t make the playoffs of the third tier of English football this season, which is now looking likely, he should hold some responsibility for a very disappointing season especially taking into account the amount spent on players
football is a crazy sport, such as Sunderland going down twice in 2 seasons , the general motivation for a club and players to strive for promotion is mainly put on by the clubs atmosphere, even if we don't go up this season it has still been an entertaining season compared to the last 5 years, and probably has brought in the most money for the club in years, Ashton will be highly praised as the changes he is making doesn't just affect us for a couple of seasons such as players, however for another 30+ years as the ground will be improved, also under mckenna since he has come in we would be 2nd in the league btw so its all promising , but i get what u mean

Our new manager has only been here 5 mins sorting out the team that cook mismanaged got their confidence back and playing good football he was always playing catch up did you expect him too turn them into Barcelona on day one give them a chance

It is not his money he is spending it is other peoples and he is being very well rewarded for it. Outside of Sunderland our budget is far bigger than all the other clubs in the third tier, and if you listened to his interviews pre season, anything less than the playoffs should be seen as a major disappointment. I guess it just boils down to one thing really, if you are happy as a supporter to be 19 points off Rotherham.
