Get a hangerty policy they do have a casual use clause its not much more They do want you to have a primary driver in your name. Even a scooter.. Otherwise enjoy it on weekends get a cheap 4 cyl beater for work and slowy work on it. Dont sell it if you have tough times youll never be able to get or afford another. Youll thank yourself many yrs later
Had a 72 javelin I built up 360 , ported, polished head , swirl polished the valves , Edilbrock cam , Offy. Intake , reworked dist. by Gunderman racing in Indy . Shift kit in the 727 tranny slapper bars on springs . And more . Traded it and $ 2500 in 1980 for a basket case 1966 L72 Vette coupe . Kept it for 39 years .
I had two AMC eagle station wagons, They weren't fast, but they sure were slow LOL. Driving down the road, I heard dink dink dink, thought I left a wrench under the hood, nope, the door handle fell off. Really, I liked my AMCs, very dependable. Always wanted a SX4 to do a nice little 302 Ford small block swap.

I’m 19 and I just bought a 1969 AMX. Definitely one of the best cars ever. I wish I could drive it everyday

Aunts 68 jav had problems with door latches and ignition switches failing
Otherwise it was a good car
I have a complete 1981 SX-4 2.5 manual in PA if interested? garaged and NO-RUST
