Modifications: it’s part and parcel of the Australian off-road scene, and something many of us do in the quest for better, more reliable off-road vehicles. While our owned 2017 Nissan Navara SL benefitted greatly from the work we did on suspension and wheels/tyres, there’s still scope for some more useful mods. With that in mind, we’re back in the workshop for more gear - notably: a bullbar, winch, snorkel and rear bar.

I got a 2016 navara with the 2.5 VGT here in Philippines,3 years and 8 months so far and ZERO problems,solid machine and still a ridiculous cold ac,just regular maintenance and that's it.

How does the navara do carrying load? I read on a lot of reviews that the rear suspension helps give the best ride on any pickup but fails whenever you carry 1000pounds in the box.

Yea but it does not give a good ride at all, vw amarok with leave springs is much more comfy

Any chance of letting me know the all up cost of the wheels...bull bar...rear bar and snorkel ??? I am thinking of doing this to my Navara STX and am very impressed with the way this was done !! Very professional !

Yeah I don’t get it either it’s the only dual cab ute in the market that is coil rear. Every other dual cab ute including this one is ifs, so if we’re talking about off-road capability you’d have to argue this would be the best out of them all due to its coil rear. Sure the interior of the others may be better but if we’re talking off-road capability I think the d23 takes the cake when all are kitted up

there's a good chance they fitted the suspension with the extra weight compensated for already, usually the bullbars and the extras have a known weight and you can figure it out before you throw it together
