I cannot believe it's 40. I played my tape to death to and from school....I still have it. The best compilation ever made.....the songs and production are amazing
Once again, I really enjoyed your points of view about one of the best compilations (if not a proper album in itself) of all time. It’s amazing to see your collection, man. Again, you cannot imagine how important The Smiths are to me and how much they meant during my younger years as an Argentine teenager. The Smiths were the reason I learned English (not quite successfully, but I do my best… hahaha). I had the urge to understand every word and to know why they meant so much to me, even though I wasn’t grasping all of the lyrics completely. I know it sounds crazy, but I felt The Smiths (and this album in particular) were speaking directly to me, so I had to embrace every word of their message. Thank you once again, can't wait for the next Smiths' content. Greetings from Argentina.

I was literally just streaming this working late on a project last pm, no way?! I have relied on comps over the years, while combined quite a bit of material, I constantly kick myself when I listen to their LPs end to end and realizing how good their deep cuts are. It is a lot of fun to hear different versions of many tracks on Hollow, excellent walkthrough (and agree w/many of your takes here)!

Hey Arnaldo, another great video. I have a UK pressing and the reissue with just the face cover and a 2014 pressing. I love this comp but I never liked the mastering. I find it to be very thin sounding, no bass. The 2014 for me has the most bass or bottom sound. An excellent compilation minus one major exclusion, the b side, Jeane.
@@franksmusic2880 I agree with it sounding a bit “thin” on some songs. Indeed, Jeane would have made it a perfect collection. I have the reissue from the box set as well but haven’t had a chance to compare. Thank you for watching. ✌🏻
