I was in Ashkelon 30 years ago. It was a small, dirty, dusty town. Now this is an example of what a colossal leap Israel has made in these 30 years.
Because then,all the money went to nearby Yamit...
But the beaches have always been beautiful.
Simple but still special, not much noisy, simply walking and watching everything quietly. Love it.
