Bess would work in addition to the buffs, so long as the creature token was created as a 1/1. I think you'll find that if she's buffed even a little then Bess alone will make your soldier, bird, insect, elf warrior, human cleric, and spirit tokens wreck shop. The buffs would just make it worse for your opponents. Nonbos with Divine Visitation, though.

dragon shields are way too large for my tiny hands so i always use ones that fit to the card size like katana or eclipse.
