Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for posting this. I lost a drain bolt on my wr450 and am getting ready to tear it apart for the first time and the service manual diagrams look extremely daunting. Your video will definitely be a big help. Wish me luck, and any advice for me will be happily accepted!
i had a 2008 yz450 that had a hard time going into neutral, it was a hassle to get it into neutral. when running, it also made alot of mechanical noise. like you could hear the internals of the engine clanking around , it was noisy. does the 2011 have these issues?
Hey man, I’m about to start a Rmx450z rebuild but my main question…. How can I get it to TDC (top dead center) if my kick start is frozen? I’m not understanding how guys are doing it. How’s did you do it?! Thanks bro!!!!
Seen a friend's 13' 450 skip time twice and just stalled it where the piston and valves did not hit. I wonder if he had the same problem with his crank/ Still have your bike?
Hey there! I still have the bike. Once I got the crankshaft swapped out, everything went back together smoothly. Does your buddy still have their bike?
@@MrHeresDave yes he does, he put a gytr head, cams and big bore cylinder. Not a huge fan of the big bore but I have a 09 and love it like it is new. I seen a new perspective on your video that a lot of people with 10'-13' would probably have the same problem.

best to get oem crank and rods, heard nothing but bad stuff about hot rods and wiseco

Should have bought a pro-x rod then ship it to ken o’connor racing for a rod replacement it’s worth the time and money

your spark plug was so white that i would suspect that the bike was running lean at somepoint and lean mixture=higer engine temp
