I don’t know for sure if they’ll do it, but at this stage, given their obvious commitment to creating historic content, I’d be shocked if they didn’t. Monaco and Suzuka must be next in line and to be fair, they’re not going to be even the most challenging circuits to change from their current layout to a late 80’s/early 90’s layout.
Let say Assetto corsa has his own class, and Automobilista is now the best of the rest 😁 Do not forget AC is what it is today because of addons and mods and of this fantastic open achitecture. Of course, the physical engine (and FFB) of AC also still make a difference with automobilista2 (and other actual simracing games) and will always do... until the next generation of simracing production. As a big fan of old cars and circuits, if assetto didn't exist, I would most likely drive on AMS2. But it's clear, assetto, its physics and FFB at the top, its absolutely incomparable catalog, and all the huge improvements that have taken place with CSP/SOL/pure etc. , well assetto is really in a class of its own, above all other simracing games, including AMS2, RF2 and also iracing, at least as far as the single player experience is concerned.
@@GregzVR One thing that annoys me a little on AMS2 is the sound of the cars. Compared to the sound of the same cars on AC, that's a big difference. However, sound is a very important component for immersion. As a big fan of old cars and circuits, I have everything I need on AC, especially now that I have spent dozens of hours looking for the optimal settings for VR (because I too only drive in VR ^^). Today, I'm satisfied enough with it that I don't even want to look anywhere other than AC, to do historic races again with the real circuits, the real cars (or almost...), the real drivers. and the real grids of the time. And I love the physics and the sensations that AC provides so much that I don't want to take the time to look elsewhere. this is what I love : th-cam.com/video/lAoPEMWv45M/w-d-xo.html And no other simulation than assetto corsa will be able to give me as much in what I expect. But Automobilista 2 is still a great simulation also, and the last update is a GREAT one.

Simply cannot wait for the 92&93 hitech skins to be available on RD 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Nice throwback driving sennas McLaren
Absolute road rage by Mr Prost! 😁
Nice! Can't wait for when Reiza release the historic version of Monaco!
Are they going to do so?
That’s one of my big hopes. The King of Monaco, needs to have at least one version from his time.

Would be AMAZING if they did
Or how about a historic Zandvoort…? 😜
Great race, GregzVR ! 👏👍
did you turn on DRS at the start on purpose or what?
Whats going on with the tyres? Aa you look towards the wheel it seems to move away/get smaller?
Probably just the result of fitting the VR view to the 16:9 screen or something. I’m sure it looks correct in the headset.
assetto corsa is way better
And?

Drive both! I do.
