It's gorbin' time
Interesting, Terkishe sounds like inspired by some piece(s) of Galician or Bucovinian Ashkenazim, because if you listen closely, it's not in one of usual Jewish scales/modes, but rather in a Hutsul scale, typical for Western Ukrainian music.
