  • After 6 months of hard use how's the Cosori Air Fryer holding up? was it a good buy or just another kitchen gadget destined for the loft. I give an unbiased opinion on whether it was £84.00 well spent and the good and bad of it.

      @@grantmail4112 The worktop doesn't get hot, the hot air is blown out the back just make sure you have enough space at the rear of it around 150mm minimum, you may need something to rest the hot basket on when you pull it out maybe a silicon mat or cutting board.

    Hi, I found your video interesting to watch. I bought a Puremate 5 l8tr as it's handy having a bigger one. I bought this model because I wanted a white one. I've had it about 2 months and have used it a lot. I've cooked chips, wedges, sausages, bacon, a full fry up, a whole roast chicken, fish fingers and chicken coujons in it and also road in the hole. I was disappointed I couldn't do my fish in batter in it so I've hung onto my chip pan just to do that. I wash it out every time I use it, I wouldn't have thought to turn it on it's side of upside down to clean it. It's loads better than having to wash the cooker top down after a fry up.. It's nice to finally buy a kitchen appliance that gets used. Anyway thanks for your video

      Thanks for you feedback it's much appreciated, it's good to hear how your getting on with the air fryer. I understand about what your saying about the fish in batter, just an idea that I would probably try would be to coat the fish in a slightly thicker batter and cook it off in a non stick tray for the desired time turning it at least once. Maybe give it a try and see what you think, I would say it would definitely work for breadcrumbs. 👍

    • @sandradent65
      @sandradent65 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm not keen on thick batter but thanks for the idea. I kept my chip pan so I can do it in there especially with the price from the fish shops now. I will definitely try it with breadcrumbs. I usually have sea bass and do it in a pan but next time I'm going to try the air fryer. What I like most is how easy it is to clean, no more having to clean the hob down especially after a fry up

    Hi, Just found your channel. I’m about to buy an Air Fryer but not sure about size. I was looking at a Cosori 3.8L but people have recommended the bigger 4.5L. I’ll be cooking just for myself and you mention you’d go for a bigger size next time so is that what you would advise. Working my way through your video’s and I like the way they are straight forward and easy to follow. Thanks. 👍

      Hi David, Thanks for your support it's much appreciated. I think your be pleasantly surprised just how good air fryers are when you purchase one, I was a bit sceptical myself thinking it was a fad I was going through and that it would end up in the loft, I couldn't of been more wrong , have used mine everyday for the last 7 months and still going strong, hardly touch the oven now. There's no getting away from the fact there big and take up workspace, I bought the 3. 5 ltr Cosori as it was the right shape and could just about fit it in my workspace. I can see why people would recommend the larger one but you have to consider how much workspace its going to take up, compare sizes and see how much room it leaves you and let that determine the size you get, the 3.5ltr is great for me as a single person, of course there are times when I wish I had a bigger air fryer but not that often, so my advice would be if you really want an air fryer and you have limited space go for the smaller one, if you have more space without compromising go for the larger one which I think is the 5.5 ltr Cosori. Whatever you decide just make sure you can fit a medium chicken in and make sure the advertising literature says it will actually do that, not all do, if you watch my video on air fried chicken you will see just how good it comes out..

      Hi Dave you’ve probably got an air fryer by now but here’s some advice for anyone who might stumble across this. My advice is to buy the smallest you can get away with. The bigger they are, the more they cost to run. If you go too big you’re losing the main advantage of having one in the first place.
      And ignore the capacity (in litres) when working out how much it can hold. Everything will be on a single layer so you want to look at the area of the pan and ignore its depth. Hope someone finds this useful.

      @@nforne Hello mate, yes have the Ninja AF300UK. Unfortunately had a bad fall and managed to fracture both sides of my jaw so not had a lot of chance to use it. Did give a it couple of time trials, chips, sausages and chicken, and all were okay. The dogs seemed to have enjoyed.them. I've packed it away for the time being as I have a lot of dental work on the horizon which I'm not looking forward to but once that's done I'll get cooking. At the moment living on soup & bread, with beans, mash and scrambled eggs as a treat. Anyway thanks for your message.🖕

    Is it a brushed metal effect but a dulled matt look, is there a bit of shine? I see contradictory descriptions of the colours. I want red for my red kitchen, not burgundy, not maroon! Amzaon calls it burgundy but cosori website calls it red and photos look red. Is it a flat dull effect unlike the glossy red Fabuletta material? is there an advantage to having that removable internal basket compared to a crisper plate on the bottom of tray instead? I ordered a fabulleta red which isn't like its pictures and may return it expires as the crisper plate is so tight to place inside its feet get wedged around the sides trying to force it down which can't be right. I am now debating paying double the price for the cosori and it has a 100 recipe book and longer warranty. I cannot many if any red sir fryers of the size range and capacity and price range.

      When I clean my air fryer out after every time I use it, I clean inside as well and also clean the element at the same time. I also have a convection oven, microwave and grill combi, it's just the same as the air fryer. I clean the element on that as well

    • @GrizzlyUK1
      @GrizzlyUK1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It doesn't turn the fan off I imagine the temp is controlled by a thermostat which cycles the heating element on and off to whatever you set the temp at, very much the same as a fan oven 👍

      @@GrizzlyUK1 Thanks. I'm asking because my current air fryer turn the fan on and off, making the cooking process slow and cumbersome. 2 hours to make some baked potatoes, that can't be right. So I was thinking of buying a Cosori :)

    I've got the same one even down to the red colour every thing you mentioned on this video is spot on apart from I have to now and again have to tighten the screws on the basket as they come loose on mine I would definitely buy another cosori airfryer in the future as there customer service is brilliant and they have a 2 year warranty. I'm looking at my next one will probably be the cosori dual blaze as its got a element on the top and bottom apart from I think it looks very ugly and I don't like the colour hopefully they will in the future bring out the blaze in more colours I really enjoyed your video

    • @X22GJP
      @X22GJP ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Dual Blaze has a crisper tray instead, which is both a plus and a minus compared to a basket. The added element on the bottom doesn't necessarily increase cooking times too much either (you can be too hot and too fast with foods). It does look ugly too, even in its other light grey colour.

      Hi Tayla , yes you can fit a whole chicken in that particular air fryer, its a 3.5 ltr which will take a small chicken easily and you can get a medium in if you squish it a bit. I have the larger model now the next size up the 5ltr and that takes a med or large chicken.
