So when the Jinx folks and police got ahold of the boxes she hadn’t purged anything. The users get used by each other period. That’s hilarious to me.
Have you guys listened to the 2015 New Orleans interview? I had heard clips, but I listened to the whole thing and it’s amazing if your brain likes to cross check information and lies. There are lots of those, OF COURSE.

It’s hilarious that she seems to be insistent on arguing that she didn’t ASK Bob for money/isn’t a gold digger…when really the prosecutor is trying to prove that he GAVE her money to influence her. So the way she’s fighting this is making it worse for him. It’s like she doesn’t realize Durst is the one on trial and not her.
This was one of the most difficult ‘direct’ examinations to watch. Part 2 was posted before part 1 (or I haven’t found part 1 yet--Law & Crime has been very difficult to follow chronologically). As a physician I can’t help but to wonder if this witness was asked prior to her testimony if she had taken any medications or used any substances that would impact/influence her ability to provide accurate and clear testimony. At the end of this testimony, she states to the judge that she cant return for another day because she will run out of her ‘medications’. Of course, these could be medications that do not have an impact on her ability to provide clear testimony, but based on my perspective, her presentation during this testimony could be under the influence of a medication such as a benzodiazepine, which is often prescribed to people who have a fear of flying on airplanes. It should not be used prior to giving testimony however as it can impact the ability to be discern what is appropriate to say and what is not-it disinhibits by agonizing the GABA receptors as alcohol does. By doing this, it can create confusion under stress such as situations such as this.

If she is taking money from a defendant in which she is called to testify she can’t really be non-biased. She would answer the questions in the defendant’s favor and say “I do not recall” to many questions.
That’s part of it, but she is also going to be questioned on the money that she sent him to help him flee. The money is all tied up in everything. She illegally sent him money, and that’s another thing he was bribing her for.
I have a HUGE lawyer crush on him. He’s fantastic. Listening to transcripts of the Galveston case really highlights how horrible the TX prosecution was. If Lewin had been the TX prosecutor, there is no way Durst would have been acquitted. The defense team, for all that they’re costing millions of dollars, is entirely outclassed.
Ok . As of writing this , the Durst trial is on a long break . ( 9/1/21 ). Both sides rested . Now it’s review time . This was indeed an unforgettable testimony at the Durst trial . “ Suzie “ is the equivalent to Bob . Lies on top of Lies . ( well not as bad as Bob but still )… I think she was going to pull the mask over her head at one point !! She just wanted to disappear!!!! Seriously!! How far up was she going to wear that mask ??? She kept pulling up higher and higher ! I was waiting for the judge to cut out to holes so she could see out of haha !! So why does she keep relying on Bob to pay all her bills ?? I wish I could forward all my bills to Bobs lawyer !! Unbelievable!!!! And come on !! She didn’t see all those envelopes in the cases ?????? Haha haha I think she might be arrested soon . Lewin did not let her off the hook ….. yet . I gotta feeling those 2 will meet again .
Hi Cowboy - I have been wondering if they will go back and arrest her for perjury I was also wondering if durst is acquitted, can they go back and arrest him for perjury . I have also read that NY reopened the investigation into Kathies death in May 2021, so NY may work with California not to arrest her so she can testify if the NY case goes to trial. Oh the webs we weave....

BTW little tip ...when you remember 1 aspect of an event but then claim to have a memory blank then it looks (and usually is) a big lie and when its used constantly throughout an investigation or cross examination it looks like A BIG OH OH!!!
