This better hold the same dark tone as the other seasons. Without any silly injected politics. At least the previous seasons mocked certain things on both sides.. and that balanced coverage is what made me appreciate the show. Homelander is a Parody of Superman. They have all the same powers.. Superman and Homelander can't be stopped. In season 3 I'm surprise May was even able to push the pencil into his ear and produce blood. That makes no sense.

the longer they take btwn seasons the more copycats, the more watered down their show gets in that noise and the harder it is to remember what happened before.. and ultimately, we just move on. happened with man in the high castle for me.

Love the series but....if the villain does not pay a significant price, like more than a little blood, then I won't watch another season.

A villain that is undefeatable becomes boring.
The whole point is that homelander is undefeatable but they make him pay by showing his insecurities which really shouldn't exist when you have that much power, I love the concept of his character, both untouchable and weak as shit at the same time
