- In this unboxing we take a look at the incredible animated Cartoon Network series by Craig McCracken, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends. This DVD set is 11 discs, containing all 6 seasons of the series, plus the extended TV movie Destination Imagination. Although the set is not without its flaws, I am pleased to finally have this show in the collection. As the years went on, it was looking less and less likely for the show to receive a complete series boxset. Hopefully, this will pave the way for more complete series boxsets to release in the not too distant future. For more content, be sure to subscribe.

I bought this DVD for Prime Day back in July of this year. I was so upset that it was removed from Max that I knew I needed to seize the opportunity to buy the DVD while it was at a good price, not to mention, it's physical media, so I own this bad boy until I die.

I agree with and understand your disappointment over the picture quality of season 4 and the fact that “Destination Imagination” has not been put in its original widescreen aspect ratio on this DVD, because “Destination Imagination” not being in widescreen on the DVD of this series is the thing that frustrated me the most.
When I found out about this particular flaw about 2 months ago, I went right ahead and emailed “Warner Home Video” about this issue. When they emailed me back saying they will check their inventory, I awaited for them to clarify their answer, but now those 2 months have already passed, and they have not emailed me back to tell me if they have “Destination Imagination” in widescreen or not.
I just really wish they would have put it in widescreen on this DVD in the first place.
Have they ever checked and sent an email, because there is a chance that they lied to you about going to check and see if they have Destination: Imagination in Widescreen.
I got mine successfully in HD wide-screen so I don't know why they didn't email you back!

I got the complete Ed Edd N Eddy set and I was absolutely disappointed that the finally wasn’t in it hopefully one day that will be realeast on dvd the complete series of Courage The Cowerdly Dog is available on dvd and did you get American Dad volume 14 yet?

Cocos my favorite also I got Edd Ed And Eddy despite It not being complete sadly but It's got most of the episodes anyways so It's fine by me

Great review. Seems like a fine enough set, nice they everything’s included but it’s a shame there are some quality issues. We were really close to getting a perfect set. I’ve been rewatching the series on HBO Max and also getting a kick at how delightful the jokes and performances in the series are.
Also would you mind explaining the joke at 6:24? I’m not sure I understand 😅

That gag went over a lot of people's heads! It's a play on words where it sounds like Bloo is saying "No shits" and Mac reacts as though he was swearing - obviously he meant bed sheets haha.
Does this also have the Christmas special for Foster's home for imaginary Friends I don't know if it was a special part of a season but I just wanted to know because that was one of my all-time favorite Christmas specials

Thank you for the detailing the quality issues with this set -- it's really a shame that they can't get it right. Because of said issues, I will not be purchasing it -- which is especially sad, considering how long I/we have been waiting for it!! I may contact WB myself -- I love physical releases and want to support them, but this one just isn't worth it, considering the visuals are a huge part of why I love the show so much.

@@dvdreviewsstudios Sadly, it seems like the quality issues weren’t fixed, and it also looks like Destination: Imagination will never be released in 16:9
My biggest problem with this dvd is the aspect ratio I hate that everyone says that season 5 and 6 ware in wide screen and not in full screen i hate season 4 with the black bars I my dvd players won’t change the aspect ratio it can only work on a tv sadly and I really hate that Destination Imagination is in full screen with the black bars and my copy just gets stuck and skips parts for no reason the disc is not even scratch I would not care about the other problems if the aspect ratio was the normal full screen like 1 2 and 3 ware in full but not the rest I have been downloading episodes and cropping them to full screen but it’s so annoying Cartoon Network can’t do a dvd right i have been waiting for this sense 2017 and this is what we get would have been ok if all the copy’s that they use ware cn rips with the water mark it would have been bad but not as bad as what we got but I would say that I do like the set at least it has every episode even the Christmas episode wetch is not on any streaming service if they never used the old copy’s they world have never added it foster s home is my favorite cn show its in my top 10 favorite shows ever and this is what we get on dvd

Definitely hold off and wait for a good deal! Not worth full retail price with the mistakes on this set.
