I remember when my local library had this one, I used to borrow it many times. It was really fun, what I specially loved was how the telling of the story was passed from character to character.
The wizard of oz is my mother's favorite movie and I have seen it a number of times---I myself prefer the books and when I was in Junior High, in the 8th grade--believe it or not; I got to play through the Wizard of Oz, by Windham Classics, for the Commodore 64--I finished it too, it took a semester. My first Niece was born in 1992 and when she was a little girl, she adored the Wizard of Oz. One of the neighbors, even made her a dress, just like Dorthy Gail had. Although, my Niece has blonde hair and blue eyes. I got my first PC in 1992. My mother picked this up in 1993 and my Niece would often sit with me and listen to these parts.
If this was made today and not licensed by Warner Bros. (who now owns the MGM film), they'd be probably doing the 14 books and using clips from public domain Oz movies.

Thank you for preserving this. I find it interesting that despite staying closer to the original book, snippets from the MGM fil were still used.
the design team when they hear they have enough space on the CD-ROM to embed video:

I can't believe someone found this. I am in this recording!

How do you play these? When I try to run I always get an error notification about not compatible 32 bit to 64 bit
