Respect to XG but THE undisputed best female vocal group is Mamamoo. Not just in kpop, but the world. Kpop fans hardly ever agree on anything but this is one thing we all agree on. 3 of the 4 singers in Mamamoo are consistently ranked in the top 5 of any vocals list. Mamamoo also have one of the best rappers who is also a very good singer and she actually writes most of her own lyrics, making her the most credited female songwriter in kpop with over 120 songwriting credits. Mamamoo are also the most credited group with over 100 songwriting and composing credits. To be fair XG are younger, they will continue to grow and improve their already impressive skills without a doubt.
