@@xenonim Honestly the scariest part of tear endboards were the non monsters. Tear traps, scream mills, and shufflers/snow you hit is what made Tear unbearable for other decks.
Banning merrli is a really heads-up ban from them as it removes a lot from the deck. No more dharc into sprind for a fuse or elf summon back merrli for a mill 3 and ofc kit c1 merrli c2. Block dragon being gone is huge fuck adam and BF to 1 is probably whatever. Very weird they didnt hit bystial lub at all. Even just to 2 like they did to extrav wouldve made sense but ig they like dlink. Also ngl pretty sad about the grass hit now my shaddoll deck is even worse 😂

I'm not sure about Dragon Link being tier 1 (at least for a long time), tears is probably going to fall in terms of representation (which are the main targets for bystials) and kashtira is coming in two months. It is going to be prevalent for sometime, but the upcoming meta won't be forgiving its gy reliance structure.
Rhongo wasn't so terrible if he's summoned normally. He slows you down, but he gets weaker every turn. The big problem was sales ban. Limit rhongo to 1 and ban sales ban.

while synchro monster need a monster on the field to synchro, fusion summon can use monster on Gy, field and hand as material, and tearlament just need to discarded/send to fusion 😂 using tearlament on my dragonmaid are very easy to get Grapha, Its power up fusion deck a lot
Spright is gonna be fine, short of banning the main deck monsters it's going to be playable in one way or another (pure works as long as it has its extra deck monsters and they can be splashed in multiple decks even without) Tear, wait for the 2nd wave of Kash support. Tear Kash and potentially Trivikarma make up for any consistency losses
I played pure tears and seeing this happen kills me. They couldve banned all ishizu and tearlaments being tier 1 couldve eventually fell off and if they wanted to limit all tear girls to 1 it would be better. Ishizu killed my tearlaments 😢. Back to buster blader I go.
Girsu my boi is back at 3 and Block is finally banned (I f*cking hate this card)! I really don't like how they handle Spright and Branded by making them less consistent. I wish they would just ban Elf, Sprind and Mirrorjade and unlimit the other cards. But besides that, this was the best banlist since they banned Calamities.
Conclusion tearlament deck not only lost consistency it also lost it power level pottential after lost 1 fusion summon pottential. Adamanciptor is officially dead after this. Branded tear officially dead, as your cannot do crazy fusion summon anymore after lost 1 merii and lost 2 copy branded fusion so no more double masquerade after this, is kind set to be honest to let branded tear go but it is what it is.
I still think they forgot pepega and snow. But I am happy with this. And grass should just go. Resolving that shit is still auto win, it's just way less likely, but it will still happen.

Also all the acces and use of cards like Elf or Sprint is gone now... This accumulates to roughly a shit ton. Not to mention we lost 2 millers / one copy of kelbek and all of Agidooo; Yeah Kit stays, thank fking god - but this is a painfull hit; In the ocg Tear is the 2. or 3. best deck without mommy eh without kit; In the tcg after the AriseHeart and Shifter ban (my uncle works at konami - trust me on this) Tear can also see some more love - even without Chaos Ruler (F); So all the limits + no kit - is still unreasonable fk konami - but this is still pain; Also I hate this talk about, "not that bad", like if I lose my thumb sure its not as bad as losing my hand - but Id rather not lose either... Tear was the best deck in MD for nearly 5 months, that's longer than any single deck has been in the game. Everything else was either completely hit (halq or VFD) or powercrept out of being the best deck by then (swordsoul, spright), and Tear is arguably at a stronger position after these hits than those accounting for the more support it gets.
Well I have not considered TearKash coming out soon - that does in deed open up combos we in the tcg only had for a very short time I think... the other cards are fine as well for sure. But again if Kash comes around, isnt that exactly what you mention as powercrepts - its even "more" then that due to the fact that tear is hard countered by the theme of kash... So sure its top level, but instead of hitting it like that like that - why not see how it plays out vs Kash, if its ultra strong even vs Shifter Macro - then sure we can maybe consider some hits... Tear is still hit less in MD than in OCG by a lot and it was still the best deck there

They didn't because fusion is at 1 and grass/millers are at one so you need much more set up to get optimal lubellion use

Dragon was a top deck in TCG with more hits and a likely stronger Kash (Prosp, Shifter, and every kash card at 3 except Unicorn)
