- James is feeling exceedingly autumnal now that fall is finally upon us. Then Steve graces us with a groovy news jingle as James dives into the news of the day including an Elton John concert at the White House this coming weekend. Then things go fully off the rails when a story about a truck-powered vasectomy sends us into a segment that is straight out of one of Nick Bernstein's nightmares.

This is the only late show intro segment I watch because it just feels like you're catching up with friends. The rest are all so political. This is a smidge of politics and then just pure fun! Keep it up guys! 💯
Agreed! I noticed that too a while back and realized that was one of the reasons I was only catching up with this show and NONE of the other Late night shows. Not that they're doing anything wrong per-say I'm just not entertained by the constant late night political barrage. This show touches on it and then moves along to other topics. It's perfect.
