It's a simple enough joke. Ed Gamble looks like Curtis, a contestant on the 2019 series of Love Island. And it just...kept...going

It may have been the sexual innuendo of "throwing his weight behind gay boxers", I got that from someone elses comment, but Ed was saying boxing instead of boxers so it didn't work, I guess.
I think now Ed's on his more intensefitness routine he looks better than that Love Island guy.

what do you mean this is a usual part of the show also i believe mock the week and 8 out of 10 cats started around the same month and year back in 2005 (googled it) Mock the week has different sections to the show so im wondering why your confused
@@PsychoEdits I’m in the US. I’ve only seen what’s posted on TH-cam, we don’t get the show here, and I’ve never seen this segment with them sitting at desks. I’ve only seen where they stand at the sides of the microphone and take turns. I thought that was the whole show because we have a similar show her called Who’s Line Is It Anyway?
