You've heard it before but MAKE YOUR OWN COMPANY. My father was watching your vids 48 y/o man and he was telling me you have such a outside of the box way of handling things and how you keep your shoulders up. It May may be job he said but your atlas with the weight of the world on you while your up there and that's when you see things entirely different. I sense you have an extrodinary talent with this stuff. My great grandfather was a logger in Alaska somewhere and knowing that my dad also has tons of experience with this stuff and he was still baffled by your skill. Truly phenomenal
Thank you very much, I appreciate that. While I don't consider my skills on that level yet, I hope once I'm healed, and with a bit more experience and knowledge, I will be. Planning on running my own shop, just going to take a few years until I feel I'm ready.
Wow! You were most def blocked in on that one. Bringing down a dead tree in a tiny garden, first class job! Your knowledge of your new roping gear and how to use them properly paid off big time on that one. This was epic, IMO.
That was a pleasure to watch .such a cool set of rigging . Low impact on the surrounding area 1 plant took a beating when others would have trashed the place . Good job HUMAN .
I think I've watched this video at least 5 times now and every time I see it I'm just in awe at how you managed to do this would have never thought to rig it and pull it down like that.
nicely done I've been in the same situations, you have to creative and adapt work with what you have. what it comes down to is getting the job done I've been climbing for 10 years and occasionally climbed for other companies. I don't have all the toys you have but I get it done. I like your style brother. be safe let it fly
Human he'll yeah. I like the difficult ones and I like working by myself when I'm in the tree I do all the roping I lower it cuz you can't trust the guy on the ground they don't usually pay attention to the small things. how long have you been climbing. my first tree I climbed with the tree climbers companion in my back pocket learning on the Fly everything worked out right. I love the fact not everybody can do this anybody can paint room turn wrenches whatever. I had a homeowner tell me I want you to drop your pants cuz I want to see if your balls are as big as I think they are that's a compliment peace brother stay safe
LOL, I love working for homeowners like that. I think my favorite was an old black lady, she looked up at me and said " Lord I feel sorry for your mother!" lol
Human if I can use a 201T for the whole job I'm happy as a pig in slop. It's just so light, and towards the end fatigue plays a big factor in safety, so if it saves some energy why not. 260-261 probably would have done better on some of it, but your 201 didn't seem to complain too much.
Wow! I don't think ever seen an arborist rig a tree and take it down from the ground up lol great work man! Maybe a little sketchy but hey you gotta let your wife see a few skid marks come through the laundry now and then to make sure she knows she's got a true man right? Awesome work man keep it up!
lol, it was pretty funny, now at least. At the time though, I was stressing so much over everything that I couldn't really see the humor in it. Looking back though, I consider it a major success with it being the only thing damaged.
You sir are a Madman you cut three foot of the base of the tree out and it's just dangling there by ropes at 3 minutes 30 seconds all hail no that's what I'm gone LOL Just subbed to the channel bro
very nicely done!!everytime im climbing dead trees in a nice place like that i wonder how they let them get so dead!should know its gonna be dangerous for the 1 cutting it down
Good Work. In this case, removing from the bottom up. Smart tactic that was applied in the situation. You are skilled and have good Safety practices with a power saw. Keep your saw sharp and your head up. Stay safe out there.
The dudes that took the tree out of my front yard tied it off with a rope and pulled with his truck as the other cut it lol I see now after watching several of your videos that's not the best way to go about things, especially considering this giant tree was literally 3 foot away from my house.
People ask me if the height of a tree scares me, i say its not the height that scares me, its the tree itself, can i trust my tie in point? do i trust my ability to judge how things will go? Those are the things that can scare me.
Didn't go as planned but good enough. It fell where I wanted it to but then rolled to the right off the bamboo and right next to a brick building. I own the building and no damage so no worries. Brought down 3 more today, 15', and the other two about 40'. Easy. I've got about a 60-70 food dead one leaning towards power lines surrounded by bamboo. Human, yes, I will clear the bamboo on this one!
Do you hate dead trees as much as I do? LOL From what i can tell you lowered the entire tree? nicely done! I had considered doing that on a couple of occasion, but thought better of it........cluck cluck....LOL
Okay, have a question. Have you ever had a tree with a little back lean, made a small back cut first, put in your wedges, then made your notch and proceeded with your back cut? I know you do your plunge cut alot, but saw this done a few times, decided to try it myself with a large cottonwood today and it was successful. Wondering your opinion.
The reason I ask is because one of my coworkers argued me that it was the most unsafe cut he's ever seen, but i argued different, stating the wedges and fibers in the tree did their job. The cut was perfect in my opinion, and the after look of the cut was picture perfect. Wish I would have taken a video to share with you but figured you'd get my question by the explanation.
I've actually been wanting to try that. Buckin Billy Ray shows it quite a few times in his videos, and for smaller diameter trees with a bit of back lean, seems like a great technique.
You've heard it before but MAKE YOUR OWN COMPANY. i guess it's kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Emerson Devin Flixportal :)
@Felipe Bishop Thanks, I signed up and it seems to work =) Appreciate it!!
@Emerson Devin No problem xD
I just came across your videos after I got done with cutting all day you are a true professional! Keep safe
That's some amazing rigging skill to bring it all home like that without destroying the surroundings. Heal up quick Human!
Thank you much =)
That was a pleasure to watch .such a cool set of rigging . Low impact on the surrounding area 1 plant took a beating when others would have trashed the place . Good job HUMAN .
I was a "groundy" for a few years and I never saw a tree cut down from the bottom up! What an amazing rigging job. Total pro skills.
I think I've watched this video at least 5 times now and every time I see it I'm just in awe at how you managed to do this would have never thought to rig it and pull it down like that.
Terrific job Human...you know what you are doing!!
This was incredibly impressive. Great job.
Absolutely brilliant! I've never seen a tree remove from the bottom to the top. Well done, Mucho respect. :-)
Nice thing about hastas is they grow right back. The fact that you care is beyond pro.
Top notch work, your a natural with rigging systems.
Your videos are so interesting and educational. You must spend a lot of time editing, thanks for the content

Thanks =) I tend to like these jobs the best, the ones that take some creative thinking, makes you feel pretty good when it's all done.
Human he'll yeah. Definitely made the best out of a bad situation lol. I also see you top handled the whole tree lol.
Yeah, the 280 they gave me to use is a piece of shit, and didn't really feel like getting out the 460, so the 201 was it, lol.
Human if I can use a 201T for the whole job I'm happy as a pig in slop. It's just so light, and towards the end fatigue plays a big factor in safety, so if it saves some energy why not. 260-261 probably would have done better on some of it, but your 201 didn't seem to complain too much.
You sir are the definition of the word expert
I wish guys that I work with respected people's personal property as you do!
All about being professional when working around someone's home.
And he treats his crew with that same respect and appreciation.
Wow! I don't think ever seen an arborist rig a tree and take it down from the ground up lol great work man! Maybe a little sketchy but hey you gotta let your wife see a few skid marks come through the laundry now and then to make sure she knows she's got a true man right? Awesome work man keep it up!
lol, thanks =)
Never seen a tree logged before felling before. Excellent work.
Never seen a tree blocked down from the bottom before. I also want to apologize for laughing when the Hosta was smashed. It was quite funny.
lol, it was pretty funny, now at least. At the time though, I was stressing so much over everything that I couldn't really see the humor in it. Looking back though, I consider it a major success with it being the only thing damaged.
That's a win! Don't short yourself brother
Congrats on 3k subs!!
great job there!! minimal impact....maximum Awesomeness !!! really like your use of ropes and rigging
Thanks =)
awesome video... love it!!! wish you filmed on how you rigged it and explain??? good job!!!
Nice work ..good approach really relate to the way you critique yourself. Respect from sweden . Skogsarbetare.
Thinking outside of the box personified - Interesting video, nice job
"Started from the bottom now we here". Nice job...
Dude that was poetry in motion lol
Always love your videos
No problems only solutions good effort 👍
Epic skills:-). Great job controlling the tree.
Good job and management of all these systems
seriously,,you pull some ninja shit like that to drop that tree and your upset about the plant!!?? you are a true professional my friend,,great job!!
You sir are a Madman you cut three foot of the base of the tree out and it's just dangling there by ropes at 3 minutes 30 seconds all hail no that's what I'm gone LOL Just subbed to the channel bro
HA! Good work. Yeah, that title says it all.
Brilliantly done!!!
very nicely done!!everytime im climbing dead trees in a nice place like that i wonder how they let them get so dead!should know its gonna be dangerous for the 1 cutting it down
Great job 👍
You did great. Awesome strategy.
Nasty green ash are always fun ;) good job!
Good Work. In this case, removing from the bottom up. Smart tactic that was applied in the situation. You are skilled and have good Safety practices with a power saw. Keep your saw sharp and your head up. Stay safe out there.
I like your problem solving
Have a vid of putting in the tie lies / rope lines.
I'd like to know how long it took to set up. He may not have filmed it because he might not have had enough battery for it, just a guess.
Nice rigging skills! although I'm not a professional, I'd like to up my game on the rigging game! definitely a game changer!
I've often told people I'm gonna die of Dutch elm disease
great video and good job BTW!!
Good work!
first time i've seen that done. worked out great.
Thanks mate, so did you check out the treestuff.com store while in indy? (Even if you didn't, say you did, and that it was amazing, lol)
oh yeah.. it was killer. lol
The dudes that took the tree out of my front yard tied it off with a rope and pulled with his truck as the other cut it lol I see now after watching several of your videos that's not the best way to go about things, especially considering this giant tree was literally 3 foot away from my house.
Awesome job!
Ropes are our friends IF they are in the right place:)
People ask me if the height of a tree scares me, i say its not the height that scares me, its the tree itself, can i trust my tie in point? do i trust my ability to judge how things will go? Those are the things that can scare me.
Crazy smart man love ur vids
Thats a tricky one, not an easy job!
Good one :-)
ITS LIKE A MAD SCIENTIST
Awesome on every level.
Very captivating & interesting, yet pretty tricky. I’d love to do this.
Who decides on the tree(s), homeowner or the council?
Good work bud I bet that’s stressful
Love your videos bro
I subbed because you get shit done and well. You're a top bloke mate
Much appreciated =)
Cheers
well done guys! thumbs up man!
Obviously it wasnt too bad, it only took you 8 and a half minutes!!
But really, excellent job!!! Do you ever get any gravy work??
That poor guy is so scared to open his mouth
I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU PRICED THIS JOB
First time I have ever seen a tree cut from the bottom UP !
Well done mate
I have done the exact same thing good thinking
Nice! Much better to take the time planning than to mess up.
I've got a about a 50 foot tree next to power lines and surrounded by bamboo that I'm taking down soon. Sure hope I plan it well!
Chris, good luck on your 50 footer. Take it slow.
Ouch, that'll be interesting, lol. Might be easier to just cut out some of the bamboo, it spreads quickly and would likely be right back in no time.
Thank you! I did, I used my truck, winch, and pulley and made sure I was safe. All good for a one person job :)
Thats some AWESOME RIGGING.
Yeah. You're good!
I would love to meet the person who told you , you could take down trees
This is that real shit right here! Great job
Hey man you crushed that mans plant
Do you hate dead trees as much as I do? LOL From what i can tell you lowered the entire tree? nicely done! I had considered doing that on a couple of occasion, but thought better of it........cluck cluck....LOL
what kind of saw is that little stihl in tree saw i see in all the vids?
In this video it's a stock 201T, I just painted my work saw to look like my own =) In other vids with a similar looking saw, it's my own modified 201T
What a fun freakin job!!!

Great job!! What kind Winch system did you use?
Thanks, was using the rope jack for tensioning, and my 2-ton maasdam to actually pull
nicely done
nice job! One to remember..
You earned your money.
Taking that tree out in all that mess and only smashing one Hosta? 4 9/10ths stars!!!
nice work!
Awfully creative, if not a little sketchy. Congratulations on a job well done.
Oh yeah, it was a bit sketchy, lol.
Those were just a few hostas. They are very tuff. No worries.
where's dan the tree man when you need him?
Those trees look like they were killed by emerald ash borer. Indiana's ash trees have been damned near wiped out because of them.
Hosta la vista. Lol. I did the same thing the other day
what type of tree was that that you removed
How many times have you felled a tree from the bottom up. . . .with it standing the whole time lol defying physics lol
Fishing pole method, high tie in less dynamic lode on canopy
good job sir
No trolls on this one kid.
Wow nice job
Mad skill man. superHuman
hey, the tree was ok, why did you felled him? Just fun, good work men ;)
I know! Made me sad to see such a fine tree go =( lol
Dead trees are a major pain in the butt
what does something like that cost?
I honestly have no idea, the new company I'm with doesn't have the estimate on our work tickets.
We are gathered here today to say good bye to our dear friend, Hosta.
Poor Hosta.....=( LMAO
this dude knows his shit.hope he gets paid good
What size of chainsaw is That?
