- Lamelo is one of the more interesting players you'll watch, and his style clearly isn't for everyone. But studying it may be worth it for you...

What makes LaMelo special is he’s not playing basketball, he’s just hooping. Hornets gave him the ultimate green light. When you’re playing a guy you can’t prepare for, because even he doesn’t know what he’s going to do (he's simply going to play to whatever the defense gives him), it’s incredibly hard to stop, especially when he’s comfortable taking tough shots. #PureHooper
To put it simply, he’s just out there hooping fr not even trying. He just goes out there and has fun.
Lazy take
Having fun and trying to win as a team is two different things. Mad skilled just no killer instinct
He might as well be lmfao
Bro has fouled out in a quarter of games this season
@@jessegonzalez4518do you watch games or just videos . Bro not god . He need his players to step up .
@@meganevenson9887sht ridiculous, they give a pass on "well known big name superstars" whenever they can't win even tho their roster wasn't as terrible as this, having narratives of " he needs more help", "his teammates need to be consistent", yet when you got a star like LaMelo, struggling to win with a very weak talent around him, automatically he's not a winning player and not capable of being that guy 🤣
Lamelo has no fear,it’s confidence, when you believe you’re the best, who’s going to stop you,if he can improve defensively he will be unstoppable
Dole vid. You really just made me like Lamelo. I really ain’t like his game prior to this vid cause I didn’t feel it was polished. Thought it was sloppy. But now I understand he just free with it. He got his own game. Just hooping fr.
his play style is that of a pick up game where it’s 7th grade you vs. your 12th grade bro and his friends
great anology
The fluidity of his dribbling skills are unmatched it's like he does it freely no textbooks move I wanna move like him
Your videos really help me the way you break them down and let us understand. Thank you man
He is real hooper. He's game is so beautiful
i have a suggestion that i think would be nice for a video: Jordan Clarkson scoring broken down, he is great at slipping by his defender and playing with contact which is a subject I think you should touch on more. (i learned all this from your how to be slippery video 6 months ago and i am still learning from it) Thanks anyways for your content and positive impact!
He’s not having a good year at 32.
@@BiggidyB yea but if you watch his highlights he slips around and is very crafty (2021 highlights were goated)
Perfect timing I wanted to search up how lamelo ball plays basketball and how i can learn from him yesterday so thanks!
I live in Charlotte, so I’m a hornets fan. I just wish he had more ups. Every time he drives it’s a floater or layup and he crashes to the floor. Just wish he could dunk that to prevent that fall. I just want him to play a whole season
He has a higher chance of getting hurt dunking than falling to the ground.😂😂
@ gotcha, your right. It’s better for him to crash to the floor than dunk and land on his feet. Gotcha
@@RETAINGANG16thats ridiculous LOL
@@EnthusiasticLock-hn4qp if he tries to dunk more ppl will foul him and he'll fall onto the floor lol, what happened to derrick rose
@@Fantastic_Six I guess u don't play ball either..yall need to stop @ing me fr
the video I've been waiting for
heyy i have a question
when you want to make moves to get past somebody should you plan the moves you make or just let your body do the moves it wants to do??
Can you do the joker, he’s a really unique player that I and probably others would benefit from
Melo's world
Can you please make a video about shooting over taller defenders
how to find a good mind set so when your shooting the ball you thinking
in your head it going in
Could you do an Attention to Detail of Vince Carter?
my hot take is this season lamelo might have the greatest touch of all time in nba history. i watch enough possessions to see that he is doing what kyrie and curry have done in the past but having longer wingspan that he could do better
Oh my glaze
this is insane glaze he’s in the 32nd percentile for at the rim efficiency 😹😹😹 he’s literally below average for a guard in terms of touch at the rim. his floaters are efficient but not his actual layups
I wouldn't go that far..his touch is definitely at the top, but not the best lol, I'm a big LaMelo fan, but he still has some work to do in his drives, Kyrie's touch is still better, and Jokic as well
Have you ever watched tony parker?
Please breakdown Egor demin
yo a purehooper flight 3
Air pod Melo
i don’t believe the take that he doesn’t care. i think he works on all these things. you don’t average 30 points a game if you don’t care
@@chubbedup7289 yeah, I definitely don’t believe that either
Right. He's been playing high level basketball for a long time with no college. He def cares.
He is the Neymar jr of basketball 🔥
Great vid! Could you do an attention to detail of Tyrese maxey?
Do deAaron Fox next🦊
The closest thing to a 2k created player wel probably ever see
make a new shai attention to detail
day 3 of asking for a jared mcain vid
Oh yeah, & he's 6'6, so there's that too
Is it safe to say he’s better than kemba 👀😣
watch him playing the whole game would tear my hair out…. with all his turnovers and crappy overall shoot selections
You don’t watch games
@ you are right, i don’t usually bother watching the Hornets.
Ok...@@tinkong001
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Lamelo teammates standing there like please pass the ball bruh 🙄😂😂
He should be averaging 10 assists a game, they miss every shot
