Hot dogs need to be grilled, not boiled. Boiled hot dogs are the bottom of the food chain.

Most grocery stores sell the 1/4 pound Nathan's franks. Go check for em! I live in NC and they're everywhere here.
We have Publix here in Florida who carries them but they are not near as big as the ones in this video.

I like Sabrett first, National Hebrew and then Nathan's but they are all excellent. It is the toppings and the bun to me. I like a Martin's Potato Bun, and good Mustard, and anything Else....lol

Those are mountains. Alabama has some really great mountains part of the Appalachian. As an Alabamian, this looks more like it was late summer maybe early Fall (September) time. Great vid. So glad you made it to my state. Again much love and support!

When you head up to Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountains from the California Central Valley you go through miles of what they call The Foothills before you really start climbing. That is probably the same scenario for where you are at.

Took the drive from Ft. Benning in GA to Golf Shores Alabama... It absolutely beautiful country through the rolling hills! So glad you got to see that! If your ever back down there Gulf Shores is definitely worth the few extra hour drive. Best golf coast beaches I have seen to date.. Also them dawgs looked amazing yum!!

Growing up in Pittsfield Massachusetts in the 60s and 70s we ate a lot of delicious hot dogs at the Linden Lunch. The hot dogs were the size of your index finger and stuffed into tiny steamed buns. We'd get them with "everything", which was mustard, chili and raw onions. I'd always eat at least 6, and 12 wasn't uncommon.
They go for $1.50 now, but during my teen years they were a quarter. They must have been much cheaper when I was really young, I remember at that time McDonald's burgers were a nickel, cheeseburgers a dime and Filet O' Fish a quarter.
Linden Lunch is long gone, but the Hot Dog Ranch is just a few doors from the original spot on Linden Street and the competition "Teo's" is across town.
The Hot Dog Ranch now also offers tiny kielbasa with sauekraut that are nearly as good as their hot dogs.
I live in Maine now and seldom get to enjoy those wonderful treats.
Hey Joel, this title "Man vs Food" is absolutely ridiculous. Without food, you die, you're obviously aware of that. Food is your ally, never your enemy, even when it's served in large quantity in front of you, it doesn't want to hurt you. This title is a ridiculous projection, which may have been come up by a mind that dropped out of high-school. Anyways, it doesn't promote your image, in my humble opinion. Plus, food, no matter the quantities served in your videos, has brought you a relatively healthy amount of fame and weatlh I'm sure. So why make it your enemy? Anyways, my 2 cents... :)
