Last week was an indelible blot on the copy book, but we're getting right back to business; having a crack at Las Iguanas 'Triple Grande Nachos Challenge'. Competitors get 25 minutes in which to finish a huge portion of nachos topped with whichever 5 toppings take your fancy. If you can manage it, you get the meal FREE and a t-shirt sent to you in the mail. If you can't, it'll set you back £45!

We chefs devote our time and basically our lives to our job and the food we make only to end up under-appreciated and some even under paid haha. The efforts you put into your videos are second to none, definitely worth my time . Nice to see cooking can be educative and informative this was so wholesome to watch
This is so true and not talked about enough,I'm in my mid 50's now. Been working as a chef for 27 years now and I can say we don't get paid enough, still can't set up a restaurant of my own, it's crazy the work we put into it but I guess we do it cause we love it don't we ?

Not "trashing" just trying to make a point, if I have a dish executed perfectly I will hunt down the chef so I can thank he/she face to face for that delightful meal. I'm happy they're happy.... Win win Be kind , we all need love and respect.

I'm a chef, not directly front of house but still close enough to recognise that host is amazing. He seamlessly has a witty or upbeat comment to everything said, he almost turns their whole interaction into a little game and its just great to see. I love it

I find it hilarious that he did the food challenge, had his traditional follow up desert, then continued to walk around the mall eating everything in sight LMAO
I mean, this one was a bit lighter than his usual challenges. A lot of these videos have a bunch of dense, meat and potato based components, this one was like... 30-40% tortilla chips. Those things are like... half air.

I love when he asks for the dessert menu. It’s definitely a boss move, but he’s probably responsible for these places making tougher challenges.

Every time I watch a video from this guy I get inhumanly hungry and Mexican food being my favourite food of all time, has had double the effect on me.

To combat spice fatigue.. build a tolerance.. I'm Canadian, with Salvadoran parents, none of our cuisine is known for being spicy. We moved to Texas, which is big on spicy... So I started eating a pickled jalapeno a day, moved on to serrano, then salsas, from mild to hot, to insane... Now I have to have something spicy with almost any food... Just a tip
Stuffing chilis in your butt is also great for building a tolerance.

You never fail to amaze, Mr. Beard 😅 I don't know how you do it! We went out for Mexican food last night, and the two of us shared an order of nachos, and shared a molcajete with steak and chicken, and we still had to ask for a take out container because we had so much food left! And we're not light eaters, either! I'd never be able to eat even a quarter of that giant pile of nachos! You're a beast! 😂

Love the videos! Great work does not look easy. Makes me want to try some of those, but then I go for a larger than usual meal and really struggle, so I think “maybe I should watch Beard do it instead” 😂
One note, did Mrs Beard say that’s not how she would’ve said the name of the cheesecake? She is right though. Dulce de leche is not Italian, so the C in Dulce is pronounced like an S, the rest you said it right.

Just a warning bout chilli's if you have a condition that affects your stomach be very careful I have achalasia and nearly choked to death because the walls of my stomach inflamed reaching upto my throat and blocking the airways apart from that I love everything that you do

The wholesome Mrs. Beard coming in with the last minute clutch save! I suffer from GERD and I, unfortunately, LOVE spicy food, but my GI doctor has told me I'm not allowed to wreak havoc on my insides anymore. That cheesecake looked the perfect savior for a spicy meal, though!
