This is very interesting, especially knowing that mini-strokes can be considered to be an additional burden to the brain that accelerate disease

This happened to my grandmother. I got her medical records and saw her memory got worst. There were significant microvascular changes and white matter change in brain. Numerous account of hyperglycemia levels over 400.

Good presentation. The information is well taken and it will help me to apply it in the prevention and management of the disease, especially among the elderly.

Very informative. Never thought about vascular brain issues besides an actual stroke. Vascular problems I believe are primarily caused by chronically high insulin levels from all the sugar and junk starches we eat. I have been doing a very low carb ketogenic diet most of the time for the last 23 years since diagnosed with type 2 diabetes are age 40. I believe it saved my future. No stenosis in my carotids (ultrasound) and my coronary artery calcium score is 73.
