In fact, its main aim is to be contemporary, capturing those aspects that have marked our present, regardless of whether good or bad, and putting them together through the means of fashion. Just like a contemporary painting or installation. For example, while I agree with your feeling about it, all I can see here is still extreme beauty and artistry, it's almost cinematic, the slow movements, the colours, the setting. Could it be on purpose to show vulnerability? To think how men could feel if they were like women in ancient China who could barely walk with their miniaturized feet?
Lo maravilloso de este evento sin duda, la música. Lo demás...es tema para un crepúsculo al revés....
Perhaps the construction of the pieced deserve respect. However, the show comes across as Cirque du Soleil on a depressed acid trip if not A Clockwork Orange sans the violence. If the references are historical, they line up with the pieces. Overly depressing. Granted, the art aspect is admirable, this can impact the mental and emotional well-being of some with the overkill of gray. Kudos to the obes that sat through the whole show. 👏🏻
Conceptually amazing. execution masterful. Message Devine. Outcome inspiration! Yes to the opulence extravaganzas! THE STATEMENT. Achingly beautiful 29:39 . This is all the best of each era of recorded existence on all levels and weaves, embroiders, masterfully knits them into creation for our PLEASURE. BRAVO
Sitting practically the whole time on a luggage, Alek Wek looked bored and seemingly thinking, "why me?" 😄😆😂 Is it just me who noticed that the looks are endlessly repetitive and probably only use less than a dozen patterns? Still, I love the presentation, especially because the clothes parade cheekily to my favorite classical music selections. Anyway, stripped of the models' cartoonishly theatrical makeup and hairstyles, the collection has all the recognizable Thom Browne signature mix of tailored pieces in various proportions and well-chosen fabrics. And they are actually wearable - if one has the budget for and is inclined to wear them.
not the intended concept at all, but to me this brings to mind a very specific story for me. It's a scene of two people saying goodbye on a dock on a foggy morning, with one of them about to make a long ocean voyage. the two people exchange what can possibly be their last moments together as passers-by dressed solemnly board the ship. there is the lingering, unspoken fear that over time they'll lead separate lives and forget each other's faces and eventually become as strange to each other as the other people and birds in the scene all dressed in grey. with every toll of the bell, the hour of departure draws nearer. the waves churn into a foam of inexpressible things caught in their throats. The person left behind comes back to the dock often to sit there and watch the ocean, birds, and other people getting on ships. life goes on, but this ocean scene never changes. but then again I feel like you could write a million melancholy stories about the color grey and the sea.
@@robbiecastillion8940 I thought everybody can use google translator. Two-piece suits and jackets for me, women, just a delight and a dream. On a woman they will look at the same time moderately provocative, incredibly elegant, and formal enough, for example, for some public appearances. And there are ideas that can be embedded anywhere. The back slots with stripes and, apparently, velcro. Total gray patchwork made of expensive fabrics. Bags.
I commented on a fashion show once about how unrealistic these clothes are and wondered if people really wore some of this stuff. A person commented, 'These aren't wearables; they're watchables'. It makes me see them in a whole new light. I still don't know how much you would have to pay me to model them, but it would have to be a LOT! Like the music.

Conceptually amazing. execution masterful. Message Devine. Outcome inspiration! Yes to the opulence extravaganzas! THE STATEMENT. Achingly beautiful 29:39 . This is all the best of each era of recorded existence on all levels and weaves, embroiders, masterfully knits them into creation for our PLEASURE. BRAVO
Looks more like the costumes from a B grade science fiction movie.
Sitting practically the whole time on a luggage, Alek Wek looked bored and seemingly thinking, "why me?" 😄😆😂
Is it just me who noticed that the looks are endlessly repetitive and probably only use less than a dozen patterns? Still, I love the presentation, especially because the clothes parade cheekily to my favorite classical music selections.
Anyway, stripped of the models' cartoonishly theatrical makeup and hairstyles, the collection has all the recognizable Thom Browne signature mix of tailored pieces in various proportions and well-chosen fabrics. And they are actually wearable - if one has the budget for and is inclined to wear them.
Poor her, she was sweating. Must be very hot in up there.
I was surprised that the models didn't break an ankle. Why do that to them? I don't get it. I couldn't watch until the end, it was so stressful.
This is just a work of Art Omg 😱
Grace Elizabeth slayed as bride
not the intended concept at all, but to me this brings to mind a very specific story for me.
Its a shame that fashion is no longer about creating things you can actually wear. Its more of a costume show these days.
@@orlovae1 English please 🥺
@@robbiecastillion8940 I thought everybody can use google translator. Two-piece suits and jackets for me, women, just a delight and a dream. On a woman they will look at the same time moderately provocative, incredibly elegant, and formal enough, for example, for some public appearances. And there are ideas that can be embedded anywhere. The back slots with stripes and, apparently, velcro. Total gray patchwork made of expensive fabrics. Bags.
Then maybe you should watch ready to wear and not couture shows 🤷🏿♂️
Thom Browne garments have the best details. Absolutely incredible!
Beautifully Conceived and presented! Genius!❤
In 30 min i fall in love to this brand. Fantastic! It is really art and it is really Haute Couture ❤ Bravo!
What a mesmerizing, stunning collection. Perfectly beautiful! I adore every piece. 🖤
Incredible 🦋💜🦋
Magnificent collection. It’s reminiscent of German expressionism of the 1930’s. I have to have that coat with the huge bell sleeves!! This collection gives me chills!! Love it!!
Hilarious. All the way through. I could not stop laughing.
The Tim Burton/Hunger Games review…… love the creativity!

This is fascinating! A gold mine for character design inspiration... :0
Definitely going to look more into what else this designer made!
What a strange and beautiful story. I couldn’t stop watching! I did feel sorry for the models that got the impossible shoes. I could see several of them with shaking legs and near miss stumbles.
These pieces are beautiful.. I love the collection, bet I can totally hoard some snacks in those arms of them there jackets.. 😅 it'll be a hootin nannie!!😊
🎉❤
Btw, I love those bags!! They are a feast for the eyes.. granted it's gray, but compared to other people's clothing style, you would stand out with taste.. a couple of pieces together would be dazzling.. or mix it up with some color, a splash of it tho..🎉😊
I am seriously laughing out loud! This collection evokes nothing but giggles! 🤣
Носите джинсы....это Ваше.
The music alone, has me in awe!
Giving me Edgar Allan Poe vibes. Love it.
