i loved the depiction of how there is bad/ negative things about being superman. Clark growing up not being able to depend on anyone or have a stable friendship being called out by his sons and seeing him internally hurt realizing how much he missed showed his humanity in a way i hadn't seen before. The show did an amazing job showing us Superman in a relatable phase of life where his world view is changing due to being a father and getting weaker mirroring aging, really made me fall in love with the character arc he had here.
I met blindwave thru their arrowverse reactions when I was in middle school, now I’m in university; it’s been an end of an era, glad it ended on such a high note!
The ending really tore me up. Lost my mom not long ago from cancer and with thoughts on life and death and what happens- that epilogue had me sobbing. It was really beautifully done for the actors and characters and legacy of Superman in general.
The true strength of a hero isn’t within their powers, it’s within their heart. And the Super Family is growing stronger every passing day. Such a fantastic way to end not just this show, but the entire WB/CW DC superhero era. Starting all the way in 2001 with Smallville, all through out the 2010s with the Arrowverse (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends, etc), to here now. A 23-year era. There will never be something like this again… but we are lucky to have it exist.
At its core, this series understood what good Superman storytelling was all about. What made Superman always a great character was not his God-like powers or the next powerup but his heart.
I just watched this episode in the Netherlands, just came out. And I haven't stopped crying omg....I am so emotional...😭😭😭😭😭😭This show, this story. Superman is my favorite superhero and I am in awe of this story. God I love this so much. I am crying so much right now.
i've watched this like 5 times, this ending, and i cry, every single time. RIP ARROWVERSE 2001 - 2024. Started with the Best and Ended with the Best Smallville to Superman and Lois.
God, I cried like crazy watching this yesterday by myself, and I cried again watching this reaction. They did such a great job with that ending. It does suck they had to end after only 4 seasons, but at least they were able to give us a definitive ending. Also, it's definitely an end of an era for you guys, too. I watched all the Arrowverse shows with you guys and Melanie over the years, so it's sad that this is the last one, but at least it's on a high note.
i worked on this show from the first shot of the pilot, to the last shot of the last episode. so many laughs and tears on our journey. it was an experience ill never forget. one of the best casts and crew ive ever worked with in my career of almost 30 years. great reaction video.
In my personal opinion, I think one of the biggest testaments to the writing, and characterisation on this show is that one of my favourite things to happen in it is simply a 4 word sentence.... ''Oh he's not going''. That alone gave me chills. Although if I were to do a list of favourite things, I'd be here a long time. There were always the critics saying that you can't have a good Superman story because he is either too overpowered, or a boy scout. Well this series proved that with the right writers, and ones that care and love the Superman mythos, you can have amazingly wonderful and epic stories. I'm going to miss this show, but I'm also incredibly pleased and proud to have experienced four seasons of a beautiful story. Thank you Superman & Lois.
I posted this in another reaction. This show did something that has always been a struggle for Superman writers - they him SO.... human. They were able to create something so relatable. This show was 4 seasons of awesome. I couldn't make it through the reaction without welling up again. Well done
Truly an end of an era, I became a fan of the Blind Wave because of "The Flash", the enthusiastic reactions to that show, and their love for the whole Arrowverse. Superman and Lois, this show and this iteration of my beloved characters will always have my heart, Superman has never been so Super and the bond Lois and Clark have with each other has never been so meaningful and emotional.
A perfectly realized finale with lots of emotion... Superman & Lois is the best series on the Man of Steel..This series began in 2021..and the title of this last episode is symbolic... It Went by So Fast.
This was not just one of the most consistent DC shows but one of the most consistent shows period. And also they avoided so many cliches and tropes of all shows, it felt so genuine and realistic in their portrayals of emotions and relationships. So good.
Considering you guys are cannon to the Arrowverse, I am honored to watch your reactions over the years to one of the most memorable array of shows I’ve ever seen. This was the greatest and most emotional reaction I’ve seen this far from you guys. Thx for all these memories that I’ll replay over and over again. Thank you again for this series finale reaction and a super ending! 🦸🏼
How do you know the writing is amazing? I'm still on the first season. Yet watching the ending directly already broke me down to tears without me having to watch the other 2 seasons that came before. God I can't wait to see what this show has to offer
Guys. Not only is this the era of the 12+ year long Arrowverse journey, but the whole CW DC journey that started with Smallville in 2001. I'm so glad it's been able to end. What a great ride. Those in the future will never know what it felt like as a kid to have your week be like: Monday - Supergirl, Gotham (Not on CW but still) Tuesday - The Flash Wednesday - Arrow Thursday - Legends of Tomorrow Unreal. Started with Clark Kent learning to be Superman, ended with Superman letting his sons be Supermen.
Man, Jordan has come such a long way. He's grinning at a girl he had a thing for with no hesitation, just eye contact and confidence. I'm happy for him.
Yeah, what a perfect finale. Whew. I couldn't have imagined anything better. And I'm glad to have revisted it with you guys. I almost watched another channel's reaction to this episode instead (I won't name names), but I decided against it, since they have an annoying tendency to make jokes and talk over emotional scenes -- I think to push away any true emotions from surfacing. But I felt -- and rightly so, it turned out -- that y'all would just ride that wave, no matter how emotional things got. I cried the first time I watched this episode alone, and I cried again when I watched it along with you two. Superman & Lois will go down as one of the best iterations of any comic, in any medium. Just... wow.
I've never cried so much at a TV show, it was heart wrenching, It felt like losing family members, they played their parts so well, it was so beautifully portrayed, great writing, great acting, sad but satisfying at the same time, now we're all in mourning. THANKING YOU BOTH for these much appreciated clips.

Smallville 2001 - Superman & Lois 2024 = Life & Death of the WB/CW/DC TV Universe. While they all might not have been perfect, it is what we needed and should be profoundly grateful for. Alot of these shows started when we were kids/teenagers and are now adults. Congrats to everyone involved....
I was crying UNCONTROLLABLY during those last few minutes. They just concluded everything so beautifully and I haven’t felt this good with a series ending in a while. I’m really gonna miss it.
Man! Bless this whole cast and crew. This show needs more praise for the job well done. It was definitely one of the best adaptation of Superman and Lois.
8 years we’ve had Tyler and Elizabeth play Superman & Lois… 4 seasons with this show and man it went by so fast. Glad to have watched these cw shows with you guys from the beginning to the end. Been a long time coming but we made it.
I don't have many friends that watch this show (not sure why as it is amazing), so I come here to listen to you guys talk about it. I agree with you on just about everything you talk about and appreciate the channel. Thank you for what you do.
i Genuinely feel this show was a love letter to the character and mythos of superman. it wasn't perfect obviously, but the way how things were written in such a short time with much respect...i love it
The way they did the show you can tell the people behind the show loved Superman and understood the comics down to the Lex Luthor suit and can we give a lot of love to Michael Cudlitz probably being the most terrifying version of Lex Luthor we’ve had on movies or TV shows
This is what I was waiting for and you guys didn't disappoint. This was an amazingly fitting and beautiful finale. What we had with this show was special.
This finale is one of the most emotional and touching finales I've ever seen for a TV show. Possibly the most! I even cried again watching this reaction.
I cannot watch this ending without tearing up every single damn time. I got everything I wanted from this finale, and more. Loved watching this journey with y’all.
Easily the best finale to any DC CW show. A great ending to an incredible show. Glad it finished before it had time to get worse like most of the other CW shows fell victim to. This one is def going down as one of the better Superman adaptations. RIP to DC on CW. They aren't always great. They were pretty frustrating and outright bad a lot of times, but when they were good, they fucking cooked. 20 years+ is a long run and overall I'm glad they kept a torch going for some of these characters who otherwise wouldn't have been given the time of day. And, of, course, I'm especially happy they began and ended with a Superman series and tried their best to keep this character alive when it felt like the higher studio was determined to forget him. Tyler and Bitsie are now iconic Superman & Lois actors. They should feel proud for what they helped create here. They were both exceptional custodians for these iconic characters. The love and care they felt for them was definitely felt through the screen. Wole Parks should likewise feel proud that he got bring John Henry Irons to life in live action for the first time (the first time!).
Phenomenal show, many thanks to the cast, writers and crew. They undestood who Superman and Clark truly is. Extastic I got to tune in to watch it week by week and thanks to you guys for sharing my excitement for this brilliant show!
Tyler is my favorite Superman bar non. CW did amazing with Superman and Lois, will miss this and I really hope CW can make more shows like this where we love them and they FINISH THEM well.
The showrunners did an interview after the finale and got asked about the Death of Superman. They said "yes, we planned on doing the Death of Superman, but we love to fake out the viewers, etc. so when we said we were doing that, we meant we're having Superman die permanently in the finale, not his death to Doomsday - though we obviously also planned that as well." Sounds like they were always going to have Superman die for good at the end of show, no matter how many seasons it lasted
Thank you boys for your heartfelt reactions to this show. This series was a pleasant surprise for me. I didn’t watch much of the Arrowverse but I grew up with Smallville. I followed it from beginning to end (including the comics). Superman and Lois, from episode 1, felt like a spiritual successor to Smallville. And it’s so well done- writing, performances, visuals. It’s been so nice to feel that love for a series again. Tyler truly blew this role out of the park. And credit to his scene partner as well, Bitsie. This is the first time I actually believed a Clark-Lois romance. I wish the series wasn’t cut short. Even if 4 seasons was all, a few more episodes and a few more dollars could have made a big difference. But we got what we got and these 10 were better than nothing. Beautiful end to a beautiful show!
Thank you for sharing that story about your mother Eric. I posted a comment on another video about my mother being murdered and how your channel has helped me. My dad lives in the house she was killed in still that ending hit me hard as well.
This Series Finale ending hit me hard. Didn’t think I was going to cry with the show. It’s really sad to see all these amazing shows within CW go too soon.
Yes, I've been waiting for this! I started crying during Lois's death scene and did not stop for a while after the end of the episode. I loved this show, and will definitely be rewatching it, and it's definitely some of my favorite Superman content. I love that the final season of the Arrowverse was full of flashbacks, just like Arrow did in the beginning, but it also ended by giving us a full life for our characters, going all the way to the end. I really thought for a few minutes that Sarah was not going to show up at the wedding, so I'm glad she and Jordan got their moment together. The only thing I felt was missing was another scene with the twins after the fight. Also, I think it's really fun that Bitsie's actual husband was able to be in the show and play the older Jonathan, especially since he had gotten to direct an episode this season too. I did not expect the older actors to show up, but I appreciate it more rewatching those scenes.
40:58- 41:20 *that's always be the key to making them timely and relatable* . Superman shows past and present have been doing that for the longest term in addition to the spectacle, and it's kind of sad how that approach and viewpoint never made it into the zeitgeist (at least not before this series)
Tyler is by far my favourite superman and the most badass one. fight off kryptonite screws plus lex incased in a suit that's laced witth kryptonite and still beating the breaks off him. This show really showed Superman. even with poison rocks, he can still get back up and i love how in a way it gets him mad and it pushes through even further, from season 1 when the dod shot him with the bullets and was angry with his eyes glowing, to even getting the gass in his lungs from s1. man i love the writing. just imagine if this was on bigger screen, or james gunn/cw didn't cancel it and continued to run the show along. i would have been fine with one more season or at least 15 episode count instead
This was such a satisfying end to a series. Back when I first heard about this series, I was skeptical whether it’d be at least a bit good, but man it exceeded my expectations. I loved the message of the epilogue, it was everything I wanted from a Superman series ending if that makes sense. It truly conveyed what Superman was all about This might be the most satisfied I’ve ever been watching a series, and I’m glad it was with the character that is Superman :’) Just like the final episode title, it went by so fast!
im sure someone mentioned it in the comments but one of the older brothers was played by Elizabeth Tulloch husband irl and he was the main character in Grimm with her which i find really cool for Grimm fans !

Him forgiving lex... That was deep. I have never been this impacted by a show. Salute to not leaving us with a cliffhanger and closing the book. I am actually proud of the Kents and the town of Smallville
This was the most beautiful finale ever. Tyler is my favorite Superman now even over Reeve. No one beats Reeve’s look tho. I love them all but this show hit different than anything before it. This was the Superman show the fans deserve! Sad its at its end but man what a beautiful ending! Bravo to that entire cast & crew!!!!!
What an ending I just wanna say thank you for sharing this journey with us Right now Tyler became my favorite Superman. Thank you CW for putting so much heart in this show! I'm sad this ends so soon but I'm so happy I can watch this with friends
He's the best all around superman in terms of: being a husband, father, great Clark/Superman combo ,provider....but Christopher was in a wheelchair...helping people walk again, and helping others in many ways...Tyler may be the second best to ever don the cape, and he's the best multi- facetted superman....but I have to still give the nod to Reeve❤❤❤❤❤❤...no disrespect ...and I'm mad as hell they're cancelling this masterpiece of a show😢😢😢
My point was C.Reeve was great as superman/Clark Kent in the movies( to me he was the best) but he was a real life superman for being a great humanitarian ...is that not heroic???!!!

Hands Down! The best ending to a TV series that I have ever seen in all my 70 years! Finally someone did it right. Thank You!
I proffered if superman ended going gold superman prime one million. Leaving earth for the kids to protect.
At its core, this series understood what good Superman storytelling was all about. What made Superman always a great character was not his God-like powers or the next powerup but his heart.
My favorite Superman thing ever. They understand Superman & Clark.
It started with Superman (Smallville) & now ended with Superman (Superman & Lois) 😢 will truly miss the era of DC shows on the cw 💔
As the Flash once said, "Let's do this, one last time."
I just watched this episode in the Netherlands, just came out. And I haven't stopped crying omg....I am so emotional...😭😭😭😭😭😭This show, this story. Superman is my favorite superhero and I am in awe of this story. God I love this so much. I am crying so much right now.
BEST DC SHOW EVER!!!! I’m gonna watch it again when I have kids!! So many great lesson with Clark and Lois
i've watched this like 5 times, this ending, and i cry, every single time.
Soo true man 😢
This is my favorite Superman. I’ve never been a big Superman fan but I fell in love with almost every character in this show.
A perfectly realized finale with lots of emotion...
Superman & Lois is the best series on the Man of Steel..This series began in 2021..and the title of this last episode is symbolic...
It Went by So Fast.
Such A Perfect Ending!!! This has been the best Superman Series I've seen in years. Bravo to the Writer's !!!
The moment in the Restaurant where he had to choose to show himself. what a moment.
This was one of the best endings to any tv series I've experienced. I was shocked and was not expecting the ending. I tried to hold the tears back.
Guys. Not only is this the era of the 12+ year long Arrowverse journey, but the whole CW DC journey that started with Smallville in 2001. I'm so glad it's been able to end. What a great ride. Those in the future will never know what it felt like as a kid to have your week be like:
Monday - Supergirl, Gotham (Not on CW but still)
Tuesday - The Flash
Wednesday - Arrow
Thursday - Legends of Tomorrow
Unreal.
Just... wow.
Heroes reforged by any chance? I do like them, but they definitely do talk over a lot. But they are true fans, i will give them that.
I've never cried so much at a TV show, it was heart wrenching, It felt like losing family members, they played their parts so well, it was so beautifully portrayed, great writing, great acting, sad but satisfying at the same time, now we're all in mourning. THANKING YOU BOTH for these much appreciated clips.
this is the best cw superhero series ever it had a perfect story good cgi, proper character developmen, character screen time and a good ending and dont forget the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE i was crying for almost an hour
Watching it again with you guys made me cry! End of an Era, half my life I spend with these dc shows it all comes to a satisfying end. What way to go out. Thank you
Smallville 2001 - Superman & Lois 2024 = Life & Death of the WB/CW/DC TV Universe.
I truly couldnt have asked for a better ending.
'It went by so fast' - Superman & Lois
God damn, Aaron’s reaction in particular broke me.
I don't have many friends that watch this show (not sure why as it is amazing), so I come here to listen to you guys talk about it. I agree with you on just about everything you talk about and appreciate the channel. Thank you for what you do.
Smallville walked so that The Arrowverse can run
The Arrowverse ran so that Superman & Lois can fly
Tyler Hoechlin, thank you for the Superman scream. So powerful!!! Loved this series
It’s been a while since a show made me cry this much at the end.
And it feels good, man.
i Genuinely feel this show was a love letter to the character and mythos of superman. it wasn't perfect obviously, but the way how things were written in such a short time with much respect...i love it
This ending was absolutely beautiful! Goodbye Superman and Lois you will be my favorite!
Can't believe this show has been my fav Superman show of all. Even my fav Superman.
This finale is one of the most emotional and touching finales I've ever seen for a TV show. Possibly the most! I even cried again watching this reaction.
I loved your reaction, so sincere, so pure, that's what we hope for, congratulations!
Shaq played Steel before.
@marcellawong229 we don't talk about that. 😁
That was such a bittersweet ending. 🤗
Phenomenal show, many thanks to the cast, writers and crew. They undestood who Superman and Clark truly is. Extastic I got to tune in to watch it week by week and thanks to you guys for sharing my excitement for this brilliant show!
I was with you since Arrow S3/ The Flash S1...
I laught with you and cryed too... It Went By So Fast...
End of an era.
Tyler is my favorite Superman bar non. CW did amazing with Superman and Lois, will miss this and I really hope CW can make more shows like this where we love them and they FINISH THEM well.
Might be one of the best superhero show finales. It was epic and provided full closure for the characters.
How many realized that clark was wearing the same shirt from episode 1 season 1 when he told the boys who he was.
It truly conveyed what Superman was all about
This might be the most satisfied I’ve ever been watching a series, and I’m glad it was with the character that is Superman :’)
Just like the final episode title, it went by so fast!
im sure someone mentioned it in the comments but one of the older brothers was played by Elizabeth Tulloch husband irl and he was the main character in Grimm with her which i find really cool for Grimm fans !
Probably the best portrayal of Superman on screen ❤
Best superman best lois lane best Jonathan best Jordan best side characters we could ever dream of in a superman project also best superman project ever
Finally everybody got to see epic Superman punch 😮
13:51 Cooler : He is persistent isn't he? Goku : Man, you have no idea.
I'm going to miss watching your reactions DC shows on the CW. 23 years.....the CW had an amazing and legendary run.
Seeing Jonathan and Jordan grow up is the best fan satisfaction 🙌🏾💯
I've already watched the last episode 3 times and cry just as much as the first. They really set the bar high for future adaptations!
I have two boys under 4 and I teared up. Superman lived life and greeted his end. He ran the good race and fought the good fight.
El mejor Superman de toda la historia.
God I’m going to miss this show so much and the reactions
Him forgiving lex... That was deep. I have never been this impacted by a show. Salute to not leaving us with a cliffhanger and closing the book. I am actually proud of the Kents and the town of Smallville
It’s fitting it all started with Clark Kent in Smallville and ended with Superman & Lois. A fitting and satisfying conclusion.
What an ending
I just wanna say thank you for sharing this journey with us
Right now Tyler became my favorite Superman.
Thank you CW for putting so much heart in this show!
I'm sad this ends so soon but I'm so happy I can watch this with friends
The best superman/Clark all time. I can't believe the dude from teen wolf is the best superman, and has surpassed Reeves.
He's the best all around superman in terms of: being a husband, father, great Clark/Superman combo ,provider....but Christopher was in a wheelchair...helping people walk again, and helping others in many ways...Tyler may be the second best to ever don the cape, and he's the best multi- facetted superman....but I have to still give the nod to Reeve❤❤❤❤❤❤...no disrespect ...and I'm mad as hell they're cancelling this masterpiece of a show😢😢😢
@@KevinLowe-j5v What does him being in a wheelchair matter?
My point was C.Reeve was great as superman/Clark Kent in the movies( to me he was the best) but he was a real life superman for being a great humanitarian ...is that not heroic???!!!
Reeve was his name god damn
AGREED
I cried 3 times allready...what a ending, also didin't expect that. I'm gonna miss this show, best familly show from this year for me. ❤❤❤
