Hey Josh! if you want to see a TH-camr Who does quite a bit with winter roads, look up the King of Obsolete. he was featured in an episode ofIce Road Truckers. In 2002 my dad Ran winter roads for a season. He often made runs into Oxford house. He said the one time when he was going in there’s a hill that you have to climb before you hit Oxford house and he said he got to the top and spun out then he started backing down the hill. Made it a short distance and lost traction even though he had chains on. He slid half way down then caught traction just before the corner in the road.

Josh -- at 14:30, when you crossed the ice, you said "Insert Jesus joke." Why not just say, "Make sure that Jesus is with you." Enjoy your videos. Don't drive Too fast over the ice... u can cause a wave action under the ice & cause the ice to break up. (& don't forget to take your seatbelt off while crossing)

Give yourself a star Josh crossing ice is shaky at the best of times at night after a warm day your the man . I never drove a truck across ice but I made log roads with a little bulldozer that went across some water never want to get bouncing . Great video

That would be interesting to see you have a load up to where you picked up those portable offices and take the ferry across after spring break up.

Adventures with trucker josh! Nice to see you finally made it onto the ice roads, even though it's just a 500 meter crossing. Manitoba & northwestern Ontario have a lot of winter roads / ice roads. Norway House is quite a big settlement, possibly the largest to be reached by ice road in winter.
on a diff subject , i'm surprised you didn't share that new chevy commercial !!!!! the one from the tornado flipping a chevy around and back on it's wheels and the dude kept on driving with like a rock commercial voice on it LOL .i'm a Texan and trust me no one gonna get offended ....

Just a quick question regarding employment with keystone or even in canada in general. i live in scotland and was wanting to come over to canada initially on a years work visa. My question is would a company employ me if im only over for a year or is it not realiastic as i would have to go through the licence process in canada first. i have over 20 years experiance. thanks

Roughly 5 km from the ice crossing towards Norway House, is the junction for the Winter Road, going down the East side of Lake Winnipeg.
