I just scared my husband by screaming, "Sophia Chang uploaded!" & then proceeded to say it’s with Mama and Papa Chang. We were just debating what to watch while eating dinner and now it’s obvious…your cinematic vlog.
Dear Sophia, I’ve been watching you since my junior year of high school and I’m now 27. Of all the content you make, the blogs of you spending time with your family have always been my personal fave. I have a very close bond with my family of four as well. It’s always been me, my younger brother, my mom and dad. This all changed a little over two weeks ago when my Mom suddenly died in a fatal car crash. There are no words for how I’m feeling because I honestly don’t know how to feel. I haven’t yet been able to accept this as a reality. Similar to you and Robin my relationship with my Mom was playful. I’d always goof around her in the kitchen and talk to her about anything. She was and is my best friend. When I see you and Robin treat your Mom to a massage and paint her nails it warms my heart so much because people often take for granted those parental bonds but I’d do anything to get one more day with my Mom like that. I’m so happy that I had a similar relationship with my Mom while she was alive but I can’t help but want to have done more if I’d known she’d leave so soon. Only 51 years old. December was going to make her 52. To any of Sophia’s viewer reading this comment. Please honor your Moms the way Sophia and her sister do. Treat them to whatever it is you’re good at (artwork, cooking, paint their nails), call them often and tell them you love them, spoil them with random meaningful gifts, create inside jokes, take pictures and TONS of videos! Mom and daughter bonds are so magical. I never knew the side effect of loosing a mother would be wanting to become a mother to a daughter of my own but now I do. I feel like it’ll bring me close to my mom in some way. Thank you Sophia for the beautiful family content. A tearful but heart filled subscriber

However, a few months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct cancer and is now being treated with chemo in Korea. I don’t get to talk to her as much, but in a way I feel like I’ve been grieving a loss of a mother because she will not be the same again. There are no words to describe the feeling of losing your mother (whether through death or to cancer) and now when I see other mom and daughter relationships, it makes me cry. I wish I could have more time with her. Thankfully, I’ll get to visit her in a few weeks and I will cherish every moment spent with her. I pray for peace and comfort over you for your loss. May Jesus, the prince of peace touch you. God bless you.

Family time is precious 💖 My dad passed 2018 at 51 years old due to brain clot, i am 31 now and i miss him so much. People that get to spend time with their dads are lucky. So being 31 i try to spend as much time with my mom and siblings.
