Wouldn't you want the slots on the leading edge of the blade?
I just turn the weed eater upside down to maintain my edges on sidewalks and landscape beds. Would this take the place of that?
I really like these blades. I like to tilt it toward the grass a bit to create a bigger gap.
I have tried the Ballard Saber it gives a clean edge, but I have never used the Oregon edger blade.
I have that one now cause it was given to me. Didn’t notice much difference between it and the normal blade.

I have both X echo 2620 and X 2620 weed eater .. stick edger get you started but I normally flip my weed eater because it's faster
Will the blade hitting the concrete cause "vibration" related trouble for the edger, and will that blade chew up the concrete ? I use the standard Oregon edger blade ... only time I get in trouble is edging when it's too wet.
I’ve not had any issues with the concrete. I will say it didn’t last very long for what I was personally looking for but it’s the best I’ve found if your cutting tall fescue at 3.5 or higher
Your blade is on upside down. Switch it and you’ll notice a dream cut. I always use that blade and we do million dollar properties
