I was wondering if there is a difference between the paint from pans or tubes. are the tubes better? I use the pans. But it's difficult how much water I need. Thanks!
I just bought a block of the new “enhanced and vegan” fabriano. I’ve been worried that it won’t be as good as their original artistico that I’m used to. The paint doesn’t seem to move much wet on wet and lifts when you go to glaze wet and wet. :( did you enjoy working with it?

I do find tubes to be easier to use--they are my preferred in-studio paints. I think as long as you have plenty of mixing space, both work very well!

I still like it, though regrettably not as much. The texture is different now. I haven't had issues with wet in wet, though.
I’ve had really bad luck with the 5x7 Artistico block with the paper detaching with really wet washes. Have you had this problem?
I haven’t had that issue so far-sometimes the larger blocks do detach. Maybe I don’t use enough water. 😆
