Pardon me I thought you were comparing the A2 Active to a similar speaker called the Beoplay A2.
Let me corrct myself here: The A1 is a completely different ball game as it is much smaller in size and smaller in sound too. It's good, but if you need that extra volume and sound-staging the A2 Active is a better choice.

Why do you guys who claim to be experts use something that doesn't have aptx when testing a speaker or headphone with aptx. iPhones use antiquated old sbc bluetooth even after pushing their bluetooth earbuds just recently which is inferior by miles to aptx. Aptx also has aptx HD. It shows stupidity ignorance and little education to the subject matter being studied.
