Retired USMC and wife and I are 70 but still work pretty hard at being in shape despite the aging joints. Appreciate the variety of methods you use. Good motivation too. I think it is sad when anyone especially former military let themselves go physically.
Holy crap! I have never done kettlebell workout in my life. Kind of thumbed my nose at it tbh. I just did this one, used a 30#.....buddy, I am smoked! I couldn't do the diamond pushups. But now I have a goal/mission to work towards! Thank you 🙏
This has helped when I was in the hospital for months your videos helped me adopt a spirit that can overcome the odds I was facing and still facing. Stiff person syndrome.
@GrittySoldier. I’m a big fan of these 10 min kettlebell workouts. Any chance you’d want to make a series of these? Thanks a bunch. This format is perfect for a busy dad. I’ve been slowly increasing the weight of the kettlebells, so less daily training, but more frequency still has equaled strength gains.
Great form. Nice and controlled. This is the process... You have to love the process. It's not always about how strong you get, hard hard it is, or some brand new methodology no one has ever done. Sometimes it's just about realizing life is going to provide those things one day at a time.... All you gotta do is enjoy the process of getting better every single day in preparation. You the man Gritty Soldier!
@@GrittySoldier let’s exchange #’s… I actually found your channel when I was getting back into Rucking. I did 20’s after I got out but not rucking regularly catches up to ya!! 🤣
Love these at home follow along videos! You’re an inspiration to so many service members past present and future. What kind of regimen would you recommend to improve deadlift and sprint drag carry for the ACFT
There's nothing like a workout from Lt. Surge himself! Jokes aside, this was my first kettlebell training and I enjoyed it very much, I've been coming back to it ever since. I'm starting out on my workout journey and this is the kind of bitesize of everything I need. Thanks for making this video!
Rotate them around muscle groups. I’ll keep pushing these out and eventually you’ll have a catalog of workouts to choose from, and be able to utilize the appropriate workout for your situation and rotate/schedule them around as you see fit. 👍
When I was in we self policed our own workouts, which were heavy on calethetics, dumbbells and barbells. With runs here and there or sports for cardio. Now that I'm out, I swapped the barbell/dumbell for kettlebells. And realised, even though I'm out and a little older, not by much. Kettlebells combined with calesthics, traditional cardio such as running and a side of rucking few times a week. I feel more effective, balanced, stronger than before. I wish I knew about kettlebells prior to. They are without a doubt, a functional game changer for the body and mind. Oh also side note and I'm not sponsored by anyone. We get discounts on kettlebells and gear from tru grit. Just bought a 70lb powder coat for 129 shipped. You just have to verify with govx.
How often a week should this routine be done? I'm 58 yrs young so im not sure. Also you have turned me into a rucking fool! Thanks for your service btw. RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!
I’d do this maybe once or twice out of the week, follow it up with a bodyweight workout targeting lowers. The older we get, the better it is on the body to spread out your training during every session (full body).
Can you alternate these 2 kettlebell routines every day. 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday and back to 1 on Wednesday and so on or do you need a day break between them. Thanks.
After 22 years in the military and healing from stage 4 colon cancer I’m trying to PT my carcass off, I’m 61 years old and trying to act like a 20 year old
I'm genuinely curious why use a kettlebell for this work out when it doesn't include any of the exercises that make the kettlebell such an effective tool for strength, stamina, fat loss, and mobility? Cleans. snatches, jerks, suitcase carries/farmers walks etc.. Surely this is better suited to dumbells?

Nice
How heavy is the kb?
What about wight ? Should I increase or not , if I feel it’s light
Use a weight that brings you to failure by the end of the 30secs 👍
Nice one! You always start right out cold in these vids or do you warm up a bit?
Gritty was feeling those diamond presses lol
😂

These should help you out. Don’t go too fast, focus on good form. 👍
Do większości tych ćwiczeń kettlebell się nie nadaje!
I don't have a kettle bell, but I do have a 25 lbs plate. Is it okay if I use that instead?
Yes. There are exactly zero exercises in this routine that are unique to kettlebells so any implement will work.
Did it and completely gased out!😂
Let's kettlebell swing!
You're kettle bell looks bigger then mine ... Is an 8lbs kettle bell good starting out ? I'm not sure if be the same they look different size 🙆
Can this be done with a dumb bell if i dont have a kettle bell?
How heavy is that kettlebell?
Wondering too, I’m gonna guess 30 lbs (14 a 15kg)
Ey yo!!!,,, its Mr Call of Duty

Must have had a lot of weakness leaving my body with this , that was painful . 😣
👊
Like this comment so I can always come back here lol I subscribe to many videos, thanks
Uh is a 9 year old supposed to be doing these workouts
