Nutritionist Adelle Davis got me interested in healthy eating in the 1970s and, thanks to her, I am weighing only 140 pounds, have no medical prescriptions other than eye drops, and will celebrate my 92nd birthday in a month. Mental programing is my key to longevity.
Chuck that’s amazing! My mom is 94 and can’t see a lick. I’m trying to find natural cures for her blindness but she is STUBBORN aka brainwashed. Please report back if you see this! ❤
I wish I had a remedy for your Mom. I was born with one good eye and one out-of-focus eye, so I am super careful about protecting my sight. I give thanks every morning for being able to see. Maybe science will find a cure before long. ❤@@MariaWalker-qo3vi
Bernard Jensen was ahead of his time. This woman with all her "knowledge" and "new" ideias lived ONLY 70 years. Honestly, do you think this is an exceptional achievement? Is this longevity to you? On ther other hand, many women who do absolutely nothing live to be 90.
@@igalflintThe length of life isn’t the point to Adelle being “ahead”of her time here. Adelle’s knowledge of nutrition and Tryptamine use in consciousness was absolutely decades ahead of the current knowledge here! . Adelle authored many great books one under a Pseudonym, Jane Dunlap, few people know-Exploring Consciousness.
What shocked ME was that Adele Davis died at age 70. Was she not following her own advice? I remember all the books and advice she gave and I followed her advice from the start. Today I'm 73 and in addition to following her advice, I have been enjoying the ketogenic diet since before it was popular, avoiding all packaged foods and making sure that I get all the nutrients required for a healthy body. The very year I began my ketogenic diet, I lost 80 pounds and lost all of my health issues as well. Since that time over 30 years ago, I have not had a single health issues, not even a cold or a headache. I stand by her advice, but I have to wonder if she, herself, followed it since she died at age 70.
death doesn’t care about your age or nutritional status, when it comes it comes. No one know when they well die. just live a healthy wealthy life caring, and working, achieving, and maintaining your health, social life, and spiritual life🩵. So happy that you lived till this age with good health 🩷 may god bless you and your loved ones.
Winston Churchill manage to live to 90 despite his unhealthy habits. Because of people liker her, that's why folks assume that cancer can't be prevented many times, but the risk can be lowered. I heard a woman said to me in 2015: "My mother never drank or smoke and lived on fruit, vegetables, not much sugar and lots of fish. She was a walking health food advert. I watched her die from cancer. She was 63"
She died from multiple myeloma at the age of 70, think about that. I guess sometimes having a healthy lifestyle doesn't make you live to old age. The thing is why children get cancer under the age of 10? They aren't even old enough to smoke and drank. My friend's grandfather who was an alcoholic, died at the age of 70 from a heart attack in 1981.
The american diet has been bad for decades, if you think people were healthier back then, then you're wrong, just look of the rates of heart disease in 1960s USA. Cancer back then was not rare as some people thing. "In my opinion there is no question whatsoever that the terrific amount of cancer we have now is related to the inadequacies of our American diet." -- That's what she said before she died in 1974.
Davis book Let's Have Healthy Children is still relevant today as a general introduction on child nutrition. Some things have changed over time eg raw milk is best, yes! Tho A2 milk is superior to A1 milk, which has been adulterated, ie is lacking a protein.
We should all be eating healthful foods (as well as healthy foods 😎), but don't say certain foods are bad for you. Nothing is bad for you. If you name it, you claim it. Check your comments and affirmations. Thoughts Are Things. At 92, with no meds, I pretty well know what I'm talking about...
This woman was ahead of her time. She is absolutely correct on her opinions about our food supply, which has gotten worse since this interview.

Adelle was a proponent in the use of LSD-25. Adelle Davis writing pseudonym was Jane Dunlap.

She would be shocked at the food today.
This woman, who is not your type, sold 10 million books on nuttition in her time. My mom worked for her.
What does that mean, “she is not your type”?
@MariaWalker-qo3vi It's in response to a different comment.
So you know about Jane Dunlap…? I’m reading her book currently. Exploring Consciousness.
I read one of her books in ny 20's . I'm 80 years now.
Brilliant and what she says is still true today
I followed the diet and did not need to get an episiotomy when I had natural childbirth with my 3rd child! Thank you Adele Davis!
Reading her book ‘Exploring Consciousness: Personal experiences under LSD-25. She took it several times from 1959-1961.

Maybe she extended her prescribed longevity by following her own advice?
According to Wiki it says Adele attributed her cancer diagnosis to having multiple xrays and eating junk food in college

In 1964 I read her book.
Wow, refined foods and sugar, not fat, are the issue. Way before her time.

Was anyone surprised that the NFL resumed and finished that game in 1971!!??
And that's exactly what happened!
This is not a woman.
I like that woman in the green dress she had a very beautiful look to her. The nutritionist was not my type.
Nobody cares about ur male opinion 🥴
