    The Nukatap FC is a forward sealing Flow Control (FC) tap that allows you to adjust the flow speed right on the body of the tap.
    These new flow control taps work even better than before especially with highly carbonated beers or difficult to pour high pressure beverages.
    Some of the improvements to this completely new re-engineered design are:
    1. Overmolded rubber seals so you can connect the tap and shank together with very little force.
    2. New 360degree change in direction to use the momentum of the liquid to slow the liquid down. This give superior non-linear flow control meaning the higher the pressure of the liquid coming into the tap means the more flow control that is applied. This makes the taps a joy to use and gives you better resolution with the flow control lever.
    3. Patented design that not only gives you sanitary forward sealing design but it's the only forward sealing flow control model that also has spring return function.
    The combination of these features gives you the best flow control tap that we have ever made and outperforms many of the other flow control taps in the industry.

    Great to see Kegland always improving, that's why I've switched most of my equipment to your brand! Would like to see you switch from a regular Nukatap or other tap at high pressure to the FC Nukatap to see the difference and better illustrate your point.

    Hey Kegland Team. I was one of the bad guys claiming a lot about the Nukatap (Gen 1), only foam came out and so the tap was useless to me.

    Great innovation from you guys! I actually went back-forth email exchange with you 1.5yrs past when trying to fix my leaking taps. I even suggested to you to add overmold rubber on shuttle part. Back then there was patent(s) restricting you from doing it. Great to see you have found a way around the patent(s) to improve the Nukatap FC!
    I never managed to get my taps to seal correctly, maybe this enables me to start using my Nukatap FCs now. How to get the parts (shuttle parts and spring) quickly to Finland?

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      With the sealing on the shank I think most of the issues were techincally caused by dented shanks as many retailers do not individually box the shanks and if they knock against each other the shank face would get dents and as we had a hard POK sealing surface on the FC tap this was not able to mould around the dented surface of some other shanks. As you have pointed out the new overmoulded seal does solve this problem so even if the shanks are not well stored or treated these new designs will still seal well.

    Love how you guys keep innovating. I did find the old FC taps stopped being effective at higher pressures.
    QQ - any chance of a clip or something being made to hold the tap open? The one issue with the springs is it makes using the taps as a “source” for a counter pressure style bottle filler difficult.

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really the easiest way is just to remove the spring and then the tap will definitely stay open.

    I like the design.
    Having a spring in the flow path presents some sanitary issues right?
    Is it possible to mount the spring on the outside or not in the fluid flow path?
    It would still be able to act to close the forward valve mechanism.
    An interesting engineering challenge.

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is impossible to fit the spring on the other side of the shuttle and this would not make it any more sanitary.

    We're currently building out our 1st keezer and are looking at using these Nukatap Gen 2's as our faucets. I'm curious though: with this Gen 2, if you use the spring that returns the handle to "off" position does it then attach to ANY standard shank or does it have to be a specific size / type?

    • @KegLand
      @KegLand  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Flow COntrol disconnect or Nukatap will help a lot, or simply run longer or narrower line - you just need to slow the pour to prevent carbonation getting knocked out
