I spent much, even most of my life at loose ends, struggling to figure out what I was supposed to be doing in this world. I tried being an actor, a lawyer, a teacher... nothing suited me. I was watching an episode of Frasier one night, and it struck me. In the episode, Frasier was struggling to get to Frasier Crane Day celebrations, and just when he was able to get there, he chose to stay and help a man in need. Frasier was intelligent, principled, noble and tasteful... qualities I like to think I have myself. I realized, THAT was the life I wanted. Frasier was a life changing experience for me because a lot of the episodes had actual psychological viewpoints that helped me during my separation years and divorce. I am forever grateful for this show not only for the humor and hopes it inspired during a difficult time in my life, but because it gave me hope for the existence of true love again.
@@seanwiederholt7554 If there's anything this show taught us, it's that there's always hope. No matter how bad things get for Fraiser, Niles, Roz or Daphne.. they always take it in, move along and become better than before. Eg. That's what life is all about. Making it through the storm.

This show should fall under the category of: antidepressant. It's given me smiles, laughter, and some much-needed distraction during some very low points in my life. There was a comfort watching every week and at 50 yrs old now I haven't missed a re-run every single night since the last episode in 2004. ❤
David Hyde Pierce absolutely steels the show, and with a cast as funny and talented as this, he still kills it. Niles is one of my favorite characters of all time!
I was just thinking the same thing. I was watching another video of Frasier outtakes, the one with the "Hot 'N Foamy" scene. I was laughing so hard because that's truly one of the best scenes ever written for television, and seeing John hardly being able to say the line without bursting into laughter was awesome. But suddenly in the middle of laughing, I stopped. I just couldn't anymore because all I could think is he's gone now. I wanted to cry. So yes, R.I.P. John Mahoney. You are sorely missed.

+Powerranger6342 I recently found out too (prior to seeing this video) It's so tragic... I mean, the whole event. But David himself was one of the great writers of our generation.
outtakes are so much funnier than the show because it shows you that everyone is human and no matter how many times you rehearse you can still screw up and have fun! thats what life is all about..enjoy!
one of the funniest episodes (in my opinion) other than the "restaurant" is the one when they are taking a trip in the motorhome and Niles climbs in the wrong one. That is hilarious ! great writing and great actors !!!!!!
Without a doubt one of the best shows to ever be seen on television. It was the Perfect blend of great writing, great directing and the chemistry between the great cast.
You are perfectly right! Great writing, Great directing and Great acting. Loved the show from the very first episode to the last episode and still do😀😀

I didn’t watch Frasier until years after it started One night I couldn’t find anything to watch so I watched,Ti this day almost every night bf I fall asleep I watch one or two shows. It is the funniest sitcom I have ever seen.I can’t choose one bc there’s so many!Such great actors everyone of them
Who remembers Frasier's face while driving the RV - when he purposely turned the wheel because Niles was staring at Daphne's arse too long? It was the only time I remember Frasier literally showing *teeth* it was such a big smile - then there was NILES, tossing himself into cabinets and off to the back of the RV - hysterical! BEST EVER.
when they were talking of how many other characters they brought into the show, Betty Davis, etc. I can't help but think when Frasier was in Daphne's room and ran out....he brought in the character of ET!!!!!
I used to see frasier on tv when I was 7 or 8 and thought bit boring but now im 21, studying psychology and when lockdown came I watched all 11 seasons of the show in about 3/4 months. the greatest television ive seen at least in comedy.
Kelsey Grammer and Steve Carell, we're by far the most talented actors to have ever played a character on a television show, I am just in awe of how they could do it, their facial expressions, timing, mannerisms, everything that it takes to bring a character to life they did it far better than anyone else has ever done or will be able to do, I'm so happy to have been able to watch them play their roles, it has made my life just a little bit better and happier!
That clip during the closing credits must have been a prank pulled on Kelsey by the rest of the cast. It looked pretty obvious that he wasn't expecting them to get into the tub like that.
Frasier was just awesome. Seen most episodes four or five times at least. So well written and intellectual but works for me because we see Frasier and Niles get their pomposity pricked as they struggle to understand normal people.
@@notsureiL ; I was going to say, Martin always finds a way of keeping their feet on the ground. 😁 Remember the episode where Frasier and Niles decided they were long-lost heirs of the Romanov Dynasty? The way Martin burst their bubble was hysterical!!! 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the one where Niles has a sword fight with the German, and there's a muddle in the translation : the maid translates , it goes along the line and ends with Frasier : then the mistake is discovered. Also the bit where Niles is on the piano, taunting the German, waves the sword and it flies away.
All great episodes! Another of my favorites is "High Holidays"... Niles never had a moment of teenage rebellion, so he decided to. He gets a pot brownie from Roz (her neighbor makes them!). Martin eats it, thinking it's a regular brownie, and replaces it with one from the Cafe Nervosa. Niles goes about acting like an idiot, and blaming it on "the ganja". While Martin is stoned off his ass, thinking he took too much cough syrup. It's HYSTERICAL!!! John Mahoney stole the show in that episode!!! 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
My favorite sitcom on Netflix. Gonna miss it when it finally disappears on Dec. 31. I don't know what else I'll watch after that. Nothing can replace this show. The characters are like a 2nd family to me now. I'll miss the coffees...
Who else thinks John Mahoney is kind of adorable at 00:09 when he messes up his line & then points at the smile of embarrassment on his own face? Just cute.
The frasier show was great then and still is now! In the UK it's on channel 4 (2 episodes) at 08.30am Monday to Friday and I've got Sky Q set up to record it, never miss a episode and because of lockdown people all over and watching it all over again, it's fantastic and some carictor has now passed over which is so sad because they were all fantastic actors in my eyes! There was talk of a new series starting filming in 2021 but God knows now because of covid-19 if that will go ahead. Fingers crossed it happens, cos I will defo be watching it! Thank You ( Frasier)
Iv watched every episode and have them continually on a loop, they are the start to my day, best sit com ever made.Still going strong, and what a cast.!!
My favorite show of all time. I always wondered how they could help from laughing at some of these scenes. Three of my favorites, When Jean Smart was Fraiser's girlfriend, Niles trying to iron his pants and started a fire. Niles naked in cafe' nervosa and so many more. Best show ever ! Every character was perfect.

This show aired the same year i was born in 93 and as a kid i use to watch Frasier from time to time when i would catch it on tv even tho i didn't really get the adult humor at the time since i was only a child still but i always knew Frasier was a pretty big deal at the time for those 11 years they were making new episodes and if i must say the show is still a pretty big deal to this day but yeah it wasn't onto this year i watched all 11 seasons one after another on Hulu from April to August it took me to finish and i must say im glad i did because i love this show, its a really great and halarious show that actually makes references to real life situations that we all face at one point or another. The #1 thing that was my favorite about the show is Niles and Daphne's storyline from the first time they met to finally becoming a couple and being in love with each other.
Nice to know this series still lives on in so many of us. I often had a "too cool for school" attitude during my younger years, and wasn't receptive to a lot of things, but I'm glad this slipped in through the cracks at that time. :) And "Niles" would be an amazing spinoff of a spinoff.
They just don't make shows like this anymore. To be so good that they're able to say this is when we are going to stop. And we would've just kept on watching for years and years. Classic.
Such a bond between them, a perfect cast for a perfect show, if they ever bring it back they will need to be incredibly careful not to spoil the memory.

Finding out that one of the producers of the show, David Angell, died on one of the planes during 9/11 gave me a bit of a shock.
+Powerranger6342 I recently found out too (prior to seeing this video) It's so tragic... I mean, the whole event. But David himself was one of the great writers of our generation.
I knew back when it happened its so terrible that was a horrible day for this world .
Angell wrote one of their best episodes, "My Coffee With Niles." I think of that every time I see it.
Powerranger6342 sThe episode where Daphne gave birth to her baby she named her baby David after David Angell.
I'd advise not researching Kelsey Grammar's personal life.
outtakes are so much funnier than the show because it shows you that everyone is human and no matter how many times you rehearse you can still screw up and have fun! thats what life is all about..enjoy!
Roz: Blue flash, cherries everywhere. Gets me every time.
That last outake ending was grand. LoL.
Miss you, John. Your character reminds me so much of my Dad. R.I.P.
Omg I miss this show! The entire casts chemistry with one another, is remarkable. Definitely not something you see often enough in television anymore.
Truly smart and hilarious comedy. Very few shows (even successful ones) can deliver what FRAZIER was able to bring us.
I would do anything to have Fraisers apartment. Ugh, everything perfect, even the gorgeous bathroom :P
Do you mean the bathroom that John C. McGinley came in as a plumber to fix in 1994 or the 1/2 bath by the front door?
+Andrew Bjork Both. Id love the whole place
Missus Gamble I loved the Coco Chanel couch he has 😀😀
:)
Missus Gamble my apt in the Portland hills is an exact replica of Fraiser's. Minus the space needle view.
one of the funniest episodes (in my opinion) other than the "restaurant" is the one when they are taking a trip in the motorhome and Niles climbs in the wrong one. That is hilarious !
great writing and great actors !!!!!!
Without a doubt one of the best shows to ever be seen on television. It was the Perfect blend of great writing, great directing and the chemistry between the great cast.
You are perfectly right! Great writing, Great directing and Great acting. Loved the show from the very first episode to the last episode and still do😀😀
I laughed so hard I literally cried when Jane leeves can't say 69 with a straight face
You peen in 69 is kinda funny
Long ago she was one of ( Benny ) Hill's Angels...thats why
in my "sign on" 69 used to represent the year I graduated from High School, now it's the year I was born...Time, like this sitcom, gets away from you...**sigh**...
she has such a dirty mind haha
nice
I didn’t watch Frasier until years after it started One night I couldn’t find anything to watch so I watched,Ti this day almost every night bf I fall asleep I watch one or two shows. It is the funniest sitcom I have ever seen.I can’t choose one bc there’s so many!Such great actors everyone of them
After all the years I've watched Frasier for it's never occurred to me before that Kelsey Grammar speaks differently from the character!
Yeah, that's so funny, for me, I can't stand his real voice and yet, Frasier lasts as one of my favorite shows
I saw an interview with John Mahoney and he said that people seeing him in real life were always surprised he didn't actually walk with a cane.
RIP John you were the greatest TV Dad
Such great writing, funny physical and over the top comedy ❤
Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett also come to mind
The best cast ever on Television! I wish they would all come back to the new show as we need more to laugh at today! Miss John tremendously!
I watch some comedy I never find it funny but Frasier is the kind of comedy you can laugh and laugh and laugh
Best series EVER, I still watch it! And yes, he does do Bette Davis , I love it!
thanks for uploading this.......the best show ever made
+Mustang Man ABSOLUTELY agree. Best show ever made.
Absolutely NEVER grow tired of watching, have the DVD series set and watch the reruns, still laughing. Beautiful genius, unmatched.
The best show in TV history.
Yep definitely
Started watching this show when I was 13. 19 years later and it’s still my favorite show!
OMG! That's so funny. Frasier phone home. 🤣
These are thr best writers on the planet!! That the actors were expertly and perfectly cast. I truly L❤VE this show and each of them!!!
the cast was pure magic
I used to see frasier on tv when I was 7 or 8 and thought bit boring but now im 21, studying psychology and when lockdown came I watched all 11 seasons of the show in about 3/4 months. the greatest television ive seen at least in comedy.
I remember Kelsey doing Jack Benny but that's it.. Such a classic show.. 🤗❤️😃
Steve Carell? no way the man it's any where near Kelsey please...
One of, if not the only, my favorite tv shows. I have watched it like 100 times already. Brings me comfort and tons of laughs.
I KNEW he was doing Jack Benny!!! Best deadpan ever.
That clip during the closing credits must have been a prank pulled on Kelsey by the rest of the cast. It looked pretty obvious that he wasn't expecting them to get into the tub like that.
Watching now in 2018 all over again. Still my favorite tv show ever!
*giggles* Oh, they're such a great group together. It's nice to know they all liked each other off-set as well.
Frasier was just awesome. Seen most episodes four or five times at least. So well written and intellectual but works for me because we see Frasier and Niles get their pomposity pricked as they struggle to understand normal people.
Martin is always there to take them down a notch or two 😊
@@notsureiL ;
I was going to say,
Martin always finds a way of keeping their feet on the ground. 😁
Remember the episode where Frasier and Niles decided they were long-lost heirs of the Romanov Dynasty?
The way Martin burst their bubble was hysterical!!!
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like the one where Niles has a sword fight with the German, and there's a muddle in the translation : the maid translates , it goes along the line and ends with Frasier :
then the mistake is discovered.
Also the bit where Niles is on the piano, taunting the German, waves the sword and it flies away.
That one, the exploding shaving cream can, and the one where Daphne taught Niles ballroom dancing were the funniest things I have ever seen.
Hey they're all on HULU now!
@@carahauck3785 Thank you for the info! I appreciate it...
Jane Leeve she is amazing.
Well I never thought I would see Frasier, Niles, Roz, Martin, Bulldog, Daphne and Sherry all in a bath together. :P
Amazing cast + fantastic writing = one of the best shows ever on tv. Loved it the first time I saw it and still do!
This is the best show ever!! It got me through many tough times!! Love them all!!xxxxxxx
Who else thinks John Mahoney is kind of adorable at 00:09 when he messes up his line & then points at the smile of embarrassment on his own face? Just cute.
The best show EVER. I really miss it.
RIP John; we'll miss you.
Loved his character...R.I.P. JOHN
David Angell and Moose, too.
So grateful for reruns. One of the best shows.
My all time favorite Series. I own the Box set. I’ve seen every single episode. I adore the whole cast. LOVE Roz!
My Daughter is 22 and she knows how much I love MASH, so after watching it, I noticed how funny she thought Charles Emerson Winchester was, so I told her “You have to watch Fraiser” and she now loves the show and watches it regularly. MASH and Fraiser, two of the funniest, greatest shows ever!
The amount of slapstick is incredible
One of my fav sitcoms...Loved all of them...
Quite simply the best intelligent comedy ever 🤣😂💯. Frasier and Cheers are my all time favorite shows 😊😁
This show aired the same year i was born in 93 and as a kid i use to watch Frasier from time to time when i would catch it on tv even tho i didn't really get the adult humor at the time since i was only a child still but i always knew Frasier was a pretty big deal at the time for those 11 years they were making new episodes and if i must say the show is still a pretty big deal to this day but yeah it wasn't onto this year i watched all 11 seasons one after another on Hulu from April to August it took me to finish and i must say im glad i did because i love this show, its a really great and halarious show that actually makes references to real life situations that we all face at one point or another.
I remember the first time I saw the episode where Frasier is jumping up and down on the bed, I laughed until I almost could not breathe 😂😂😆😆🤣🤣
Oh yes mama! *Bang! *Bang!
@@HellhammerSS And then Madeline says "Well, you don't need ME anymore!"
I was cringe laughing so hard! I was soooo embarrassed on his behalf! haha
I have many favorite episodes but, when Martin got high cuz he ate Niles' brownie was HILARIOUS!!!
