Thanks for putting this together and sharing your results over the past year or so. Disappointing to hear about your experience with TES and Made By Teachers. I don't think we realise sometimes how good TPT is. I've used a lot of website managers and the TPT one is fantastic imo. Sure the reporting could be better, but the simplicity and idiot-proof nature of the editor is great. Don't think I could be bothered getting to of bed for any of these 4 with those returns. Maybe after next year when I'm looking to diversify, but for now I'll keep investing time in TPT. There is an Aussie based once called Twinkl I might try too. Love your work.
I really like that you shared your results. I'm no where near trying to expand past TPT, but Etsy would have been the one I'd eye. I hope to hear more about how that goes in the future!!
Thanks for the update on these other sites. While I don't sell on other sites, I know several sellers in my niche (French) who do. And your experience echoes theirs. They get very little income from the other sites.
My i ask in which category esl products or Math products belong on Etsy? It is so difficult to understand. You keep the same titles to your products ? And do you promote all of them or you choose tpt?
I have the belief maybe it's a false one, that Etsy buyers appreciate products with colour and tpt black and white because it is more cheap to print them.
TPT has started closing accounts randomly, stealing the hard work of sellers. Two of my accounts on TPT were closed, the first in May and the second this month. When I contact the support team to ask for the reason behind the closures, they don't respond. In the end, I consider this nothing but theft by the platform.
@@msLynetteEtsy does this automatically sometimes. They have an ai system and algorithm that closes new accounts to decrease fraud and scams on their site. Usually reaching out to them and asking why or asking to get your account back, works and then you’re good to go.
@@msLynette I had the same with Etsy. I have a TPT store and decided to post with Etsy. I got an email saying that my store had permanently closed as I had breached a condition but there was no information as to what this was. When I queried it, it was a generic response saying that they are unable to disclose why. I am terrified of this happening on TPT as I am transitioning towards this becoming a full-time job

I actually had the same problem with Etsy. I sold one product and then Etsy closed my shop with no reason.
