Their TMA 2024 performance from a few days ago is a good one to react to... and they got me back into retro nikes... i bought a pair of air max 90 gore tex cos of them.... although to be fair i was a big sneaker/trainer buyer in my younger years anyway.. im 47 now so havent really cared for that stuff for a few years... they just reignited it because of the retro nikes they wear being the ones i used to get
After watching another reactor watch the whole 'emergency live' video he explained the situation and it all makes MUCH more sense to me now. Hybe apparently were good at making boy groups but never had a really successful female one... so hybe ceo Bang Si Hyuk (BSH) hires Min HeeJin (MHJ) who has a track record with creating successful girl groups and gives her ADOR and a contract to come up with the next big girlgroup (Newjeans).. while this was happening another girl group had disbanded and one of the popular members was picked up by BSH and he created Le Sserafim around her (i think this is the case someone can correct me if im wrong).... Now with this group having direct involvement and interest from BSH he put MHJ Newjeans project aside and started to focus more on Le ssrafim... Newjeans were set to debut before Le sserafim but he changed this promise and got le serrafim to debut before with much hype and promotion... newjeans were left with no promotion and ended up debuting out of the blue after le sserafim and even with that absoutely blew up and became the most popular group... BSH has resented this ever since ... then with ILLIT debuting BSH realised he has another young 5 member girl group all with a similar concept in look with them all looking natural and black hair and thought he could create them into the newjeans... his resentment of newjeans means he wants them gone... even though nwjeans cannot say it because of contractual issues i beleive the plane is to put them on the shelf for the next two years on hiatus and release them.. OR from how they talk about their vision and sound ... They are going to be forced to into a completly different sound that BSH likes.. like le serrafim or ILLIT.. but i think its honestly the former and they will slowly phase them out till they gone... thats why i beleive they went to these extreme measures which i'm sure they wouldnt have if the situation wasnt as bleak as it is... i honestly think this is the end of newjeans now. Even if they get their contracts terminated and get released Hybe I imagine will still own their name, image rights and back catalog and can easily just rebrand and rename ILLIT as newjeans (much like with 50/50 having four totally new members now)... with hybes power they could get newjeans (now with a newname) blacklisted from playing on radios and venues etc.... its so bleak...
Wow thanks for all the info, We love New Jeans and hope for the best, We will continually support them! Yeah I liked the old Fifty Fifty and have not listened to the new Fifty Fifty to support the old members
@@CribReactions thanks for reading :) Fifty Fifty situation was a little different and all a bit shady on both sides... yes it seems the girls were not being treated well at all but also the way the girls and another label went behind the attrakts back was also wrong. And whilst I absolutely LOVED fifty fifty (they were the group that got me back into kpop after all.. i had stopped listening as all the GG had just become trap, trap and more trap.... until 50/50 2nd gen throwback sound brought me back). But i do urge you to give the new fifty a listen.. i LOVED original members Aran and Sio they had the most amazing voices and Arans smile was infectious... But the difference between their situation and newjeans is fifty fifty still have the same management and production staff and 1 original member... meaning their distinct sound still remains... hybe are wanting to get rid of newjeans production team, have already changed their management AND looking to offload the girls.. Hybe clearly wants something completely different.. just newjeans in name only... whereas 50/50 is still very fifty fifty.. just different members... if you do change your stance on this then please react to their new side a mv 'SOS' its very good and producton wise sounds very much like cupid.. albeit a more chill version.. and the story behind it is remaining original member keenas (who wrote it) journey as she was in limbo following the original lineups disbandment. the sos is her call for help.. its quite deep and a wonderful song
