- Join medieval historian, television producer and writer Helen Carr, as she guides us around the Colleges of Cambridge University. Helen brings to life a brief history of one of the world's leading educational institutions, starting with its origins at Peterhouse College and taking in some key parts of the 800-year history.
You will also see for yourself the important role of Cambridge University Press in putting the University on the map. We take a look inside some College buildings and see Cambridge from the sky in a way few people get to experience - join us in this Inspire session to see it all!
Ahh, beauty and intelligence in the form of one attractive lady :) A very worthy short film, documenting many aspects of Cambridge University, interesting and informative. Although I am a retired Oxford academic, I enjoyed meeting many colleagues over the years, at both Kings and Trinity Colleges - both marvelous colleges, of course :)
Perhaps it would have been nice to mention the Parker Library, housed at Corpus Christi College, which has many extremely rare and valuable medieval manuscripts, and the ongoing research and conservation of such manuscripts at the Fitzwilliam Museum, utilizing cutting edge technology.
Nonetheless, wonderfully filmed and and a genuine delight to watch - very, very well done :)

One of my heroes went to peterhouse SIR F WHITTLE without his fortitude one would not have built a propulsion system to exceed his ,but always ,accepting using the facts of science to advance one thesis, whilst visualising how those of the past would see it ,and accept it,?
if correct
