I have consulted his website many times over the years. I would like to express my thanks to Him & his friends and family who have kept it going since his passing. Very much appreciated, thank you x
@@shayleebell9206 as far as I know, the website was the same. I haven't looked it up for a while. So it could be gone. Not sure there. There was a guy who took it over. But like I said. I haven't looked it up in a while
I'm currently building an 009 (HOe) layout on a board 1200 x 300, Have to say that Mr. Arendt's website was a major inspiration for me, seeing what could be done. Much belated thanks to him and the current keepers of his legacy xXx
Carl ran a wonderful website and authored a few books on building micro layouts, he fostered a global community and inspired a lot of people (me included) to get modelling. His definition of a 'micro' was a working railroad in four square feet or smaller! His site was updated at least monthly with contributions from all over the world. He sadly passed away a few years ago and a volunteer stepped forward to keep his website alive. Today although there are occasional updates , it's more of a repository of Carl's work and stewardship.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about how to build a model railway layout try Pycanta Model Railroaders Protocol (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got cool success with it.

Great video, thanks. I'm a huge fan and have a layout in one of his issues. I've got the urge to make another small layout 😁
I still pore over some of the old designs from the small layout scrapbook with plans to build another !
@@moghobbystuff check out my old 009 layout on my channel, from a few years ago now. I've just ordered some 009 track lol

Nice to hear the late Master himself!
The reverb sounds like your'e talking in a bathroom. Cool layouts.
