I enjoy listening to you and Kevin. There are so few channels that are against FKR that it does nothing but harm to go against each other. You are both adults. You don't have to be friends. Both of you need to drop it and focus on supporting the O'Keefe family and friends, and sending Karen Read to prison!
💯 Agree. I like both channels and I don’t like feeling like I have to choose a “side”. No need for it.
My Question: What 40 year old woman wakes up a little girl in the early morning hours to get phone numbers from her because her boyfriend wasn’t home yet - there’s the admission of guilt……
My first thought when I heard this was that there is no way one of my sons would call me or even text me at 1:30 if they thought they clipped their taillight on another car or mailbox. If they did it would be about a car accident but only if someone was injured or they needed me to come and pick them up. She KNEW she hit John and that he was injured- she saw him go down - but she didn’t know how badly she injured him. She was hoping he got up and went into the house. Her call to parents was to talk about this and you know what? THEY probably TOLD HER TO WAIT it out - she probably asked “what should I do? Should I go back to the house? I think I might have killed him!” So she kept calling him. She was hoping he would pick up and be furious, but ok. She knew that everyone would find out if this was the case. She was not sure if he was just ignoring her or if he was dead. By/before the time she called Jen and Carrie, she knew he was gone and this was all a pretense. I think her father was involved in the decision to not immediately go back to the house and check on him or call someone in the house and tell them to look.
So…the intent was to cause him serious harm in that moment of rage, to take revenge on him for rejecting her, for jealousy, whatever…but afterwards there was the reality of what she had done. She could have returned to the house to check immediately- she did not. She knew.
Perhaps this is why he is so willing to fund this defense at whatever expense.
@@Kitties3333 I agree with most everything you've said. I just think she only semi admitted to perhaps 'hitting' him by accident because she thought he'd survive. Cover up mode imo

Why didn't she just call somebody at the party to see if he was still there. She knew he never made it inside

There were so few channels that you could watch during this trial that believed KRs guilt.. Its a shame they fell out.. Well done Roberta and Kevin
Karen probably doesn't have any real friends because she's toxic.

I agree. They're both good creators. I understand why Roberta was upset, but I personally feel that rather than making a click bait video, she should have talked to him privately. I don't watch Kevin's episodes with the killer guy because I agree with Roberta.
I also believe or hope that if Roberta were to clearly explain the grounds for her deeply-held objections to hosting such a guest on your podcast, Kevin may well be persuaded and stop. It’s Kevin’s ego here that is driving him in this. “Look at me, I’m so brave for hosting a “p” on my channel, direct from prison. And my only motive for doing it, a justified motive, is ‘to learn’.” Roberta would explain that giving such a repulsive person that fuel, attention, and authority (expert on) he craves is rewarding him! And that is an ethically abhorrent act. And as an academic myself, I say to Kevin, leave the research to the quiet researchers.
We live in conspiracy nation now. That gets clicks and views. People are speaking without knowing the actual facts/evidence. In Karen's own words "we all know who did this" ... SHE. DID. IT. John was was salt of the earth kind, generous and funny. It's beyond sad....
Thank you Roberta for all your work on this case! There are only a select few who believe KR is guilty. Kevin really infuriates me when he says she didn’t do it on purpose and it makes me question his credibility. Especially considering the fact he’s admitted on videos that he was contacted by Alan Jackson.. I hope it’s not the case but he could be “bought” by the FKR cult too.. He’s on court TV and known to be the Karen Read is guilty guy but he’s pushing the narrative that it was manslaughter at worst.. like I said I hope I’m wrong and this is way off but you never know.. All I do know is Karen can’t escape Karma.. It’s coming for her no matter what. She’s going to pay for what she did.

I recall the defense going after Jen McCabe but not Kerry Roberts. I guess she did not have the McCabe-Albert connection that fit the narrative.....

Don't know about Kevin but l have heard him get aggressive arguing that the conspiracy theories is B S l don't think he got anything against you Roberta we all on the same side you 2 should a show together

Omg body language - she nodded YES when they asked her if she did it. I just noticed that! And she doesn't say she didn't, long pause and she says we know who did. Then AJ nods YES when he says and no she didn't do it!!!!!!
I do suggest if at all possible you and Kevin have a coffee? Maybe he will hear you out. You were very clear on your criticism of Bill - not “out of the blue”. That is misleading.
And FKR are def not addressing the fact the AJ has not denied the photo. I was muted on CS after stating that twice. Amongst other q’s about TB. Making up for no comments due to illness 😊

I think the prosecution blew it. The evidence is clear, they could not present it in an organized way. Even the injuries on John s body are damning, despite the “expert” testimonies. I am 6’2” tall, and drive a lexus suv, my arm sits right at taillight height, the back of my head aligns perfectly with the sharp top spoiler. The car obviously didnt hit John at the speed they claim, because it auto stops, but that does prevent a hit!

@@pheebs818 no way. She knew he was injured and instead of blowing up his phone she should have immediately called the police, called someone at the house or driven back over there check right away.

I think this is really presumptuous to say that just because she’s not there for 10 weeks means she thinks Karen is guilty. We don’t know that. Maybe she just has a job and can’t take 10 weeks off to support Karen in person.
20:32 and I’m sorry but we know she was planning on parking in the garage anyway, that’s why John moved his car out…so she could park inside the garage. Doesn’t seem like she was trying to hide her car.
If her story is true…it’s not strange at all that she went to her parents home rather than going to her own home. Consider the past 12 hours she had, is it really SO unbelievable that her parents would insist that she stay with them until she gets her head on straight, or even that she might want to be with her family after her boyfriend dying?
Gag me listening to her and her lawyer love, AJ. I wonder what AJ's wife thinks about this? My heart broke for John'd brother, hope he gets justice. I dunno why ALL the jurors don't meet with the prosecution, and judge and D? I dunno why they do not settle this, cuz i do not believe anything they say.

I wanted to believe in Kevin but he lost me with the whole , "karen thought john was cheatinf and thats why she was seen driving around" and didnt know she struck john. Thats just a theory and its based on what karen says.

And if you call the emergency services, how can you say that someone has past away, without having checking his wrist.
Why do you call your sister while you are standing at the door?
why do you say you don't have any blankets in the car when you are at your sister's doorstep?
why doesn't Karen's phone have butt calls or glitch google search.
And everyone who is fam, friend, co-worker, someone you/their know, etc.
All phone's, calling/memory card, phone records, deleted, destroyed, have butt phone calls, who can call and hang up, be for voicemail.
And every question you first need 2 read your own statements, before answering a question.
And why does the police (with no connections) find no evidence of tail light fragments. And was there a cracked in the tail light.
And the police with connections suddenly find more than 50 pieces of lamp, a drinking glass that dont match, was not from the bar.
And a car- reconstruction with a curse/class followed, without calculating the mass or calculating @ all. And the report that still has to be completed. And the police do not know, how to enter the area deposition, evidence sterile, etc, juist collect party cup in a stop shop bag. Instead of calling in, a whole organization that knows how to do that in a snow storm.
But why would you, just search for evidence in a storm with a leaf blower and a shovel. And when you have dug something up, put it right back where you found it for the evidence photo.
