    Thank you for this video! It reminds me of my childhood when my Chamorro grandma made curry for my Dad (white guy) before we would go to my grandparents house to visit on Sundays. He loved being surprised when she would decide to make it. ❤

    Can you use more corn starch to make it thicker? If so how much more? And how spicy is this with the curry powder?

    • @soHOTTsoTASTY
      @soHOTTsoTASTY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hafa Adai and thank you for watching. Depending on how much your cooking, yes you can add more corn starch to make it thicker and to the consistency you like your curry to be. As for the spice, it isn't spicy with this powder. You may add peppers to make it spicy if you like. Appreciate all the love and support! Be blessed! ❤️

      I couldnt find curry packets, i got a coconut indian curry thick sauce. Is that ok? I can add curry powder. Would the chicken need to soak longer? Maybe before.

      I do apologize, i never used that ingredient. Pls. Read the instructions on the packet. Thank you for your continued support ❤️

    Can the onions be cut smaller for this dish? I’m not a big fan of them

    • @jloislandbeauty2255
      @jloislandbeauty2255 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. You can cut to your preference. Even obsolete it if you want

    • @soHOTTsoTASTY
      @soHOTTsoTASTY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can cut them smaller or opt out of putting any. In addition, you can also use any other beans such as pinto beans, black eyed peas etc... If you do prepare, pls upload a pic on my FB group page! It'll be greatly appreciated. Thank you for watching and for your continuous support!

    Hi hafa adai. If I’m using the curry with the blocks. How much blocks do you think I should use?

    • @soHOTTsoTASTY
      @soHOTTsoTASTY  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hafa Adai and thank you for watching. Depending if your using the same amount of chicken and veggies as indicated with the video, you can use the entire box. Although the seasonings are not necessary to use. As the curry cubes are seasoned. But if you like to add seasonings, add to taste.
      As for the water, probably use 6 cups first. If the curry sauce is still thick, you can add more water to the desirable thickness of curry sauce you like. I hope that helps you. Appreciate the love and support.

      Btw, don't use curry seasoning. I don't know if you'll be using the coconut milk, but I never used it with the curry cubes. But if u like to use it, you can do so. Pls share with me if you did use it and how it turned out. Thank you again. Happy cooking and Enjoy!

    If I just want chicken, ingredients, and potatoes only, how long do I cook the chicken for and does the amount of all the ingredients still stay the same?

    • @soHOTTsoTASTY
      @soHOTTsoTASTY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hafa Adai and thank you for watching. Appreciate your question. Depending if your using same amount of boneless chicken. If your are, Yes, the ingredients and potatoes will stay the same amount and time as well. If your using bone in chicken, cook the chicken by adding 10 more minutes on medium high heat. The ingredients is the same as well. Although, you can cook this recipe to your liking. I hope that helps. Thank you for all the love and support.
