- In this video I am doing a review of the Linq and Casino in the center of the Las Vegas Strip. I booked the cheapest room and had to pay a $50 early check in fee. I'll give you a walkthrough tour of the property, show you a lot of activities. We'll cover the hotel room, casino, restaurants in the hotel such as every Buddy Valastro place which are The Cake Boss Cafe, The Pizza/Cake Vending machines, and Jersey Eats. I visited Carnival Court, the famous Linq Promenade, O'Sheas Irish pub and had the famous Baileys frozen drink at The Blarney Bar . I explain how to get around from the Linq using either an Uber, Taxi or the monorail. I also visited Matt Franco's Magic show at The Linq. We'll wrap up the video with pros and cons, how good of a value the property is (Linq vs Flamingo) and what type of traveler it is ideal for.

What do you think of The LINQ?
Would or have you stayed here?
Been there. The bedsheets gave me rashes. The bathroom door didn’t totally shut. There used to be a fridge in our room but it was yanked out leaving a crude gap. It was like a motel was dropped in the middle of the strip.
Another great video, thanks for the review! Also, I do remember that movie 😱 lol
Thank you, hopefully we don’t go to automated…
Nice review. Do you play slots, table games or both? How did you fare?
Yeah I have lots of slot videos :) I fare less ok, but I’m a very conservative better.
This place always reminds me of a dorm room.
Lol that’s a great analogy 😆
We stayed at the Linq last May and even upgraded to a "Deluxe" room but were also disappointed. Although we loved the location, O'Shea's and the Prominade so we are going back this May and staying right next door at The Flamingo!
Enjoy your time at The Flamingo, I loved it there!
I like your video.i thought it was funny that you complained about the peopleless check-in and then went straight to the peopleless wending machines 😅😅😅
Well I figured I’d try out all the automation as it seems to be a theme :)
@@Santeeno yeah. I guess that it is the way that things go. Saw that Mc Donald's had opened their first 100% staff free branch recently. Not sure that i like it though. I think it removes all the good that people do e.g. if you need help, have an issue or just want to say hello and i absolutely agree with your review of the staff less check-in.
Now I feel a little bit scare. I just reserved our double bed non smoking room. I suppose that we can ask for another one if it is not as we expected it…. Does a twenty given sweetly to the guy at the desk would work?
It’s fully automated check in process so you can’t do the $20 trick…
I’ve stayed there many times but always a suite . I do like there king suites. As for the casino , it’s a great place to drink to play and have a good time. I definitely prefer it over flamingo and guy fieri’s restaurant is a great place for a feed of nachos and wings. Great review though just pay a little extra and try the upgrade next time. Cheers !! Thanks for the content !!
Yeah I’m going to review again in the future abs get a nicer room. The ones beside the pool look fun! Thanks for the kind words.
Lobsta taaail! Think I'm gonna force those into Scott/Drew come in a few weeks lol. Sugar aside, I really like the b role edits in this video
I’ll shove a lobster tail down Scott’s mouth hole lol. Thanks I shot a lot of Broll, being alone had a bit more time
Yeah, I complain about MGM properties for their general lack of free drink service, too expensive restaurants, no fridges or convenience stores with $8 water, but they run a tighter ship than any Caesars property. I just always notice longer lines for Rewards, smokier atmosphere and less upkeep.
I think it’s so dependent on the property. I do notice MGM does have a lack of free drink service, fridges and less affordable restaurants now that you point it out.
True I do notice I can never get a drink on the tables at MGM unless I bet large. I made my bet $100 at 3 Card per hand and suddenly drinks on the fly like crazy.
The fridges kinda suck too. That being said I appreciate how they don't nickle and dime the customer service of the hotel. I got to Luxor early they had my room ready, mom went to Paris early they wanted $60 for early check in.
I also thought of District 9 when I saw the areas being called districts. makes me think of how dystopian it is for these hotels to advertise themselves as luxurious, but be dirty & have no customer service.
I really hope the automation goes away. I know it saves money but I’d pay a little more for customer service.
What did you expect for the price?
Hey 8.00 a night is a LOT! for someone in College to anty up lol
I like the LINQ location and casino but the rooms are sad, we were also in the middle-of-nowhere tower
I agree everything I liked other than the room and also check in lol
Remember this used to be Imperial Palace, always was a dump.
Yeah I learned that
I concur with your assessment and would not recommend it. The only Caesar’s property I will stay at is Caesars Palace. And other than the Paris I find the rest of their properties mediocre to sub par . I prefer MGM and normally stay at Bellagio Aria or MandalayBay . I do like the LinQ promenade though . Excellent video 😎😎😎
I agree about Caesars, Planet Hollywood wasn’t awful though. You have good taste! Have you tried Park MGM? Thanks for the kind feedback :)
CAKE!!!
At least they gave you free ketchup in the room. Or that's what I think it is.
I didn’t do a taste test lol
@@Santeeno I'm still watching the video and you just ate vending machine cake. Ewwwwwwww
@@surfingmoosethe pizza machine is even worse lol...
So your saying The LINQ is like staying at District 9 garbage camp 😄
I'm surprised Buddy's places doesn't serve canned cat food to it's guests. 🤭
I’m just saying is very automated lol. Hey Buddy’s was great :)
IP was always a dive
I thought about booking the Linq, but decided on the Flamingo instead. Based on your review, I'm glad I did. Thinking of calling and upgrading to a Flamingo room since I booked a Go room.
If u wanna go see a great magic show go see Criss Angel.
I saw him like 10 years ago I think was fun
If u wanna see a great hypnotist show go see Anthony Oools I saw him twice loved his show.
Ohhh interesting I’ll try to see him this month then
With all so respect, this is the cheapest of Caesar properties. Your room was 29$. There is a reason the hotel is so cheap, it is geared toward party crowd not high end. Planet Hollywood is always a better option when combining location, price, and quality
Well I agree somewhat, but The Flamingo was actually cheaper, I was not charged the $50 early check in fee and I thought was much nicer. I agree with you 100% on Planet Hollywood.
It's NOT the cheapest. Caesars rooms right now are cheaper at Flamingo, Rio, and Paris than The Linq lol
The Linq seems cool but based on this review I'd rather stay at Flamingo. Idk why it gets so much hate i like the place.
The Flamingo is great!
Make sure to book the flamingo rooms
you're young and broke looks great lol
They both stink now. Especially on the weekends. Might as well be in the Strat.
I wonder how the Strat is…
