Awesome video!!! I'm thinking the feed ramp polishing from the previous video had to make a huge difference in the feeding. I hope S&W watches this and maybe they can put a little extra effort in the assembly process. After watching: your first video, Chukes Outdoor Adventures, LW Road, Justin Opinion and The Turkey's Opinion "Train wreck" along with a few others it is clear that all had similar misfeeds and you can see how a rough feed ramp may be the cause. I think I will buy one …along with a Dremel with polishing bits and compound.

I was so impressed with this pistol! I have really big hands and I put the Floyds Customs magwell on it, fits like a glove. I can shoot this very well with my 508T on top. I was shooting the bullseye out of the target at 15 yards. The grip texture lets me keep the gun extremely stable when shooting fast. Thanks for this video. Love seeing our Irish friends having a blast (pun intended) sending freedom seeds at high velocities downrange :)
What I'm curious about is how it would hold up firing a steady diet of full-house 10mm (i.e. Underwood and Buffalo Bore offerings) loads. I currently own a G20 Gen 3 that only eats my 10mm hand loads, but I also reinforced it with a 22 lbs recoil spring and KKM barrel to tame these beasts. After 5,000+ rounds it's still running strong with no signs of abnormal wear.
I've read some mixed reviews about the M&P not having a stout enough recoil spring to handle the legit 10mm loads, and one guy I spoke to at the range who owned one seemed to think the same. What's your thought on that front?
I'm intrigued with the ergonomics the M&P offers, as they're superior to the Glock in my hands. But, I'm concerned about the durability of the weapon holding up over time.

Don’t think a gen 2 is necessarily. Seems the early batches just had a few issues.
Seems they’ve gotten everything pretty well under control now.
Maybe it’s worth holding off a little longer to ensure you don’t get one of the early releases but should probably be good to go.
I’ve also seen a few cases of people who’s problems went away by just simply saying deeply cleaning the gun the way the manual recommends.

Me too! I bought the 4" first and it was horrible! It wouldn't get through a magazine of anything without stumbling. I then ran across the 4.6in, that's what I wanted to start with and I've read they are more reliable than the 4in, so I bought it. That gun stumbled on the last round for the first few mags and I thought I had a winner! Nope! It went downhill fast from there, turns out it was the same garbagecthe 4in was. I tried wolff mag & recoil springs and it got better but it would still hang up. The nature of the malfunction was always the same, in both guns. The fresh round coming up world slam into the top of the barrel hood and hold the slide open. I got rid of the 4in gun and I'm going to hang onto the 4.6in for a while and hope someone comes up with a solution. I'm pretty sure most of the problem is mag design

And I am not a Glock fanboy as of the 12 pistols I own, only 1 is a Glock 20, modified with a KKM barrel, enhanced trigger, & Talon grips. I’m going to wait a year and then get it. I’ve heard reports that newer guns have been slightly changed.

2,080 rounds of 10mm Auto ammo through my 4.6" M&P since late May 2022 with 100% flawless functionality. No malfunctions of any kind whatsoever.
It's run everything I fed through it, including almost 700 rounds of Underwood Ammo ranging from 140 Gr Xtreme Penetrator through 220 Gr FN HCL, and 20 rounds each of 220 Gr FN HCL from Buffalo Bore and Steinel Ammo.
This is a great pistol, with great ergonomics, that's very easy to shoot well.
So much better, and far more reliable, than my old Gen3 Glock 20SF.
      Good things! 👍
